Stayed Jul 29, 2023Very clean, functional, well designed modern three storey townhouse on a quiet cul de sac off PG's street of grandest houses, just five minutes walk from the beach or town. The owner's photo's do not do it justice: first floor has wall of glass doors to balcony, with panoramic view of the beach and bay and as a consequence the sitting and dining area are flooded with light. Kitchen is excellently designed and equipped (somebody clearly shares my view of the intrinsic superiority of the drawer over the cupboard!) and has a large picture window overlooking the small garden terrace. Useful things for other guests to know are: - there is a garage undercroft (low ceiling, saloons only: SUV's and/or roofboxes can park in the stree which is good for getting sand off, I have my own properties on VRBO and my only suggestions for improvememt would be to get an electric kettle for the kitchen (boiling water in a pan is dangerous for making tea or hot water bottles!) and to upgrade the bedding in the twin room, which was a bit spartan: a single bed benefits from a double cover, it feels more generous and stops the toes getting cold, especially on wriggly children.
