I rented the “House on the Hill” for the week of graduation since I graduated with my doctorate degree from the University of Tennessee. This was an amazing location for all of us (me & husband in the upstairs king bed, my sister and brother in law in the “bunk room”, mom in the downstairs king bed, and my adult daughter for one night on the futon upstairs). The “bunk room” is really made for kids and has no door on it for privacy (really the only complaint). Everything was clean, amazing, and Julie (the owner) responded very quickly when we needed her. Communication back-and-forth was excellent. Great location and would highly recommend to others.

We stayed in the very welcoming house and simply loved our stay. Then pool table was a hit and the location to Pigeon Forge was just perfect. If you’re in the area, definitely go to the Aquarium, and you won’t be disappointed. Our host was absolutely the best, easy to communicate with and always willing to go the extra mile. Our only surprise was the 3rd bedroom that’s described as a bunkhouse is accessed from a dry short ladder. Older Kids would LOVE it as their special hangout but in our case we had a 2 and 6 year old planned for that room. They were a little too young for the climb during the night so we moved them into the other bedrooms on other sleeping accommodations. This VRBO is well located and is in a setting that makes it on its own too. The swing, fire pits, and overall setting makes it a great destination.

The property was great! The house had most everything that was needed for your stay. The living room does need more seating when there is a group of 9. This is a great getaway place.

Beautiful home with everything you need and a beautiful view to go with it. Not as secluded as the pictures make it look but only one neighbor visible. If you don’t want to cook, pizza less than 10 minimum away. If you forgot something at the store only a 10 minute drive to the grocery store.

We really enjoyed our stay at house on the hill. Very private setting. Loved the different outdoor areas and fire pits. Plenty of room inside for our needs. Excellent communication from the host, and accommodated our requests.

We came to the area to attend an event at the University of Tennessee. The house is located just 20 mins away and right off the main road that leads to the college. It was so convenient!!! The house was so clean and bright with a fire pit, cornhole, a swing, a basketball net, and pool table for entertainment.

Love the secluded feel of this property and the view was truly amazing. The host had everything we needed to feel at home and was very approachable when we had questions. The home felt cozy to the point that we forgot that we were traveling! My personal favorite part of the stay was the bird watching! All the bird feeders were non-stop active and it was fund to see all the different birds come and go.

We enjoyed our stay. I had not had a real vacation in many years. The host was friendly and communicated well. The host took special care to make sure many of the small things were taken care of like dish soap, paper products, spices, games, firewood etc.. This made our stay that much more enjoyable not having to worry about these things. House was clean and as pictured. We really enjoyed the pool table as well. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation!

Pros: Seclusion/privacy. Comfy beds and linen, big TVs, plenty of kitchenware to use, Plenty of outdoor seating Cons: Property was actually kind of far from everywhere we went (Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge) Every trip was about 30-40min (traffic/roads) so be prepared for that if you're going out often. Not good for 2 families. We were upstairs with the kids while brother and sister n law downstairs so lots of going up and down the stairs. This was more of an issue because there is very little seating downstairs. 1 couch for 7 people left little room to just relax inside without just sitting in bed. Upstairs is really stuffy if you're staying in the summer. AC wasn't working the first night, but it was fixed the next day. We had to buy a couple of fans to keep the air moving and that's with the ceiling fans. You are on a hill, which we knew, but the basketball goal is kind of useless because it goes off the hill one way or down the driveway, both to no man's land. We bought 2 more and lost a 3rd. Very cute house, but just wasn't the right one for us. Would be good for 1 family. As an adult you're not going to want to climb these stairs over and over all week. The host was very responsive prior to our stay and when we needed her regarding the AC.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short, 2-night stay to visit family, while enroute to our final vacation destination. Jules was Very responsive throughout. We appreciated the comfort of this beautiful home inside and outside. The amenities were bountiful for us as we were weary from our travels our first day/night and enjoyed a bonfire outside, then a game of billiards inside. Our furry family members had plenty of room to enjoy being outside on leash and there was plenty of room for their dog beds inside. Thank you for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We can’t wait to return!

We needed a place to stay to attend they university of Tennessee graduation ceremonies and found this rental. First off, the property manager was great to work with, answered all of our questions and constantly communicated throughout to ensure we were satisfied. Upon arrival, the house was immaculate and one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in, huge thumbs up. The pool table is a huge plus for the young adults in our party and the outdoor space is great as well. The kitchen is well stocked, there was even a cheese grater which made cooking a breeze. A few additional serving platters would have been nice but definitely not a deal killer. The bedroom on the first floor is a good size and the bed was comfortable. The second bedroom upstairs was nice as well with an additional sitting area with a desk that was a benefit for a few unexpected business calls. The bunk room was a good space but it’s more suited for younger kids even though our teens made it work. The location is what pushes the house to the top of the list in our opinion. Most rentals are in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge or Sieverville so when we found this rental we were pleasantly surprised. The trips back and forth to the university and downtown were simple and fairly quick and another plus is the proximity to grocery stores in the area. Overall we were very pleased and I am certain you will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here.
