This cute undated 1970's cabin in the woods to stay at as your, Home Away from Home, is as the pictures tell. Updated yet with remnants of the Retro Vintage feel left in tack.
It is available as a nightly rental or weekly vacation home, each with its own price points and advantages.

The beauty is the location, nestled in the woods with views from indoors through over abundance of windows or, the huge wrap around porch which extends the cabin another 700 sq. feet giving you a bountiful space of nearly 2000 sq ft for your enjoyment.

Keep in mind the property does sit next the road into the Park, which does mean there can be some road noice from folks coming and going into the Park.

All linens furnished. Full Kitchen, dishwasher, range w/oven, full size refrigerator, microwave, dining room and bar with stools. All dishes and flat ware furnished. Pots and Pans and grilling utensils (even hot dog/ marshmallow sticks) provided. Heated and Air Conditioned.

This property is located one mile from the Roaring River State Park, in Missouri. Some nearby lakes include Table Rock Lake and the pristine Beaver Lake. This south western Missouri town is great for the avid fishers or those looking to kick back and relax on the nearby lakes or peaceful beaches. Eagle Rock and Big M's beaches are a little over 15 minutes away. 15 to 30 minutes of scenic driving (or further if you want to travel deeper into the Ozark Mountains) makes this destination perfect for the out door enthusiast with its wide variety of terrains and environments all within one state! Experience The Ozark Mountains at this destination, as you roam through the Mark Twain National Forest that surrounds the area . . . . AND all the places to explore right across the border into NW Arkansas. More lakes and awesome places to explore.

You can enjoy peace and serenity by the open Fire Pit, large wrap around porch or indoors in the large open living space with windows all around you you will feel like you are outdoors.

If you plan your stay in the winter months it is just as beautiful and even more serene and life slows down in this neck of the wood...the cabin has a nice fireplace to hang out next to as you sit all warm and cozy with a cup of coffee or glass of wine . . . watch all the wild life as you do so. Plenty of bird watching can be had while sitting inside. If you take a stroll down the paths through the trees you most likely would spot a deer or two, a few squirrels maybe a red fox or two, here the coyotes and birds. Yes there are black bear in the area but unless you get off deeper into the woods you will not likey encounter any.

A Water Park near by, swimming pool and water slide just down the road. Plenty of near by activities and restaurants.

You can always message me with any question about this location and this house rental if you would like further information.

Our host made contact before our stay to give instructions and offer continued support. This is a beautiful property, a rustic house in the woods, clean and well organized with a big screen TV, outdoor fire pit, and quick access to Roaring River State Park. This is our second stay and we hope to visit again!

Very comfortable, super clean and spacious 2 bedroom home perfect for two couples or small family. Conveniently located a few minutes north of the park, camping areas and fishing zones. Located near the road yet feels very private. Kitchen is efficient with nice utensils and cooking items. Nice wrap around deck and fire pit. The host is responsive and provides clear instructions. When we had a minor misunderstanding about the number in my party, the host quickly addressed the error. One unexpected additive cost is the requirement for either a substantial refundable damage deposit or selection of a 3rd party renter’s damage/insurance rider. This is required to finalize reservation at the time of payment. If I were an owner I would probably want to do the same. This was an entirely enjoyable, satisfying experience. We truly felt like guest. Upon departure, we wanted to leave things as nice as we found them when we arrived.Next time during peak season when you are ready to spend 200/night on a standard hotel room, consider House in the Trees as a much larger, cleaner, nicer, better, house-cabin. Oh, and it has a massive television if it rains or happens to be game day.

I was looking for a last minute get away for my family and this weekend was booked pretty much Cassville wide but this cabin was available on VRBO. The details of the posting said it slept 6 adults. It was only a two bedroom home but we let the host know we were taking a blow up mattress for our 5 guest staying. The host questioned our intention of booking, as she should, but I explained our sleeping accommodations and she agreed she felt better about us booking. The check in process was great. To enter the property is a safety concern especially when you have teenage drivers with you but once you get to the property it is a nice area and the cabin itself is great, clean, and you can tell the host takes pride in the property. We were there in July and with temperatures being hot the back bedroom was very hot as it has no AC available. The other bedroom and living room has AC. One thing I learned from this booking is to pay attention to the fees upon booking. This particular cabin/host fees rise on a per night basis if more than two people book the cabin. At times I’m not a fan of written communication due to not being able to hear the tone and possibly reading into a message out of context but the host and I struggled on our communication when asking about the host fees. I hope you find this review helpful in your journey of booking this cabin.

The house was nice and clean. The deck could have used some attention. But overall nice place. The entrance was pretty scary to come in and out of because the traffic thru that area is busy and fast. The main entrance was blocked by a down tree.

It’s a very nice cabin in the woods. Very comfortable, clean with a nice large screen TV to watch. Very relaxing and a short distance from Roaring River State Park. It does have several steps up to a deck to enter the cabin. We would recommend this cabin as a great place to stay.
