Historic country house in a secluded location, not far from the village of Gelting, the beaches of the Gelting Bay and the Geltinger Birk nature reserve.

Built when Gelting Castle received its present form, it was intended for the theater performances, some of which were very popular at the time, and some of which were self-written. However, it was almost more shaped by the generations of a gardener family who lived in this house. If you walk through your garden, run your hand over thebox hedges and lift an apple from the ground, you may still feel something of your work in this large garden bordering on meadows and forests.


This half-timbered house is one of our oldest holiday homes. Far from neighbors, it gives the feeling of having your own country house, which you can return to after a day on the nearby beaches, where children can play in the garden, swing and hop on the trampoline, while adults watch the sun go down on the terrace.

The beaches of the Gelting Bay in Falshöft, Wackerballig and Pottloch can be reached quickly from here. The unique nature reserve Geltinger Birk invites you to take unique walks. Countless bird species and wild horses can be observed here.

Lovely excursion destinations are the enchanting harbor town of Kappeln, the fishing village of Maasholm, the pretty Schleidörfer and the city of Flensburg.
