Stayed Oct 22, 2019We traveled from the USA and picked the property based on location, and pictures. Upon arrival Sydney greated us for check in. We noticed the grass was long and the pool was green with Algea and needed to be cleaned. We could not use for 24hrs. Sydney had not Checked/cleaned the house before our arrival. For a group of 6, Sydney gave us Just 3 rolls of toilet paper! He Said this was Brazil and we needed to bring our own stuff (towels, sheets, soap, etc) Inside The house it was very dirty, stains on walls and even cockroaches in two bedrooms and kitchen. We realized its a beachouse but básic cleaning was not apparent. Sydney told us the house had been cleaned. The pool continued to have problems and required additional days of restricted use due to shock treatment with chlorine. We had to fix the pool slide ourselves. We only used for 1/2 day. Lots of ants in the kitchen. Sydney brought us poison. ....Last day the eletricity went out in 2 bathrooms and one bedroom, Sydney sent an electrician but he could not fix, apparently the wiring was old and needed replacing. Bring your on bathroom towels as there were none (this is noted in the property description). Sydney was responsive, he brought towels, bed sheets and ant poison. He also had the pool cleaned 2 more times so we could use it a little. In sumary, the location was good, and that is what we enjoyed. The house was in need of repair, dirty, and had lots of ants in the kitchen. We wont be back and Sydney never offered any type of refund to us ........we paid too much
