Stayed Dec 11, 2023My family and I had the privilege of staying at this rental for a month over the Christmas and New Year holidays. This home was an absolute gem! The kitchen is well-equipped for everything we needed over the month. We often cooked at home and never had a moment when we lacked the tools to make a tasty meal. The interior of the home is spacious and well-planned for family time. The washer and dryer were terrific and worked well. The sauna was such a treat after playing outside in the cold winter air. The beds were comfortable. The location of Silvamare is fantastic! Our children spent hours exploring the park across the street and when it snowed, we had a blast building a snowman in the yard. The yard has easy access to the park and walking trails behind the house. We loved being able to so easily access nature and quickly walk to the strand. There are two grocery stores nearby, as well as a department store for anything you may need. If you want to go hiking, this home is also near many magical trails! This home was wonderful. Kersten, the owner, was quick to respond to any questions we had and the caretaker was also very helpful. We highly recommend Silvamare and should we ever be lucky enough to spend a month in Rugen again, we would definitely rent this home again. It was absolutely wonderful!
