Stayed Apr 18, 2019A house that has pretty much everything you could need in terms of kitchen equipment, crockery glasses. All old and well used, but clean and functional, rather like staying in a much loved family home. Stella Plage is very quiet with only a few restaurants which were open over Easter (in the town centre rather than on the beach) but a fantastic fishmonger, butcher, traiteur etc so it was easy to cook and eat well. Only a 3 star review as we had booked as the property was advertised as having a king sized bed. When we arrived we saw it was a double which was very disappointing and difficult for us. My husband has been in hospital and is a large man and spending 4 nights on a regular sized double bed was very uncomfortable. We couldn't use the sofa bed (neither did we want to, as I need to be near him for his health reaaons) as we had had to bring our own sheets and towels and did not have extra for 2 beds. This really did make sleep uncomfortable and difficult. We didn't complain as the owner does not live nearby and clearly didn't expect a bed to be replaced! Please change the listing to a double bed and not a king sized. We would not have booked if this had been correct. Overall, a pleasant few days in a beautiful part of France but disappointing because of this one thing.
