Rest A While Townhome

Great place! Clean and well kept. It had everything we needed and more.

Since we had already had two previous VRBO rentals cancel on us for this particular trip, we were excited to get this Rest A While Townhome booking in such short notice.We were able to book this property 18 hours before Check-In! April was quick to respond and upfront with the property concerns. She had told us about the driveway being unusable due to recent concrete work.The property was very clean and inviting. April even had snacks out for us! Everything looked fresh and well taken care of throughout the home. We only had one difficulty due to a driveway issue that was not April's fault, because she had graciously allowed us to rent short notice. Getting into the property was quite a difficult climb for the 2 older ladies and the one pregnant lady in our group. However, even if the driveway had not been 'out of commission', it would still have been a difficult incline. I suggest perhaps installing some kind of stone steps leading up to the front porch entry.The only other suggestion I would make is to find a different method to protect the mattresses on the beds. Sleeping on beds with plastic covered mattresses is very uncomfortable.All things considered, our group of four ladies had a very nice stay at Rest A While Townhome.

They were very on top of communication... the lights went out due to weather and she was right on it... and then answered a ton of questions about the hot tub.

Everything was clean and nice. Did not prefer the plastic mattress covers. They made us sweat and kept us up through the night.

We really enjoyed our time here in Tyler. The place was spotless and the amenities were perfect. If you’re looking for a place to relax and enjoy a quiet weekend, this is the place for you!

Perfect experience

Served our needs for my hospital stay.

Booked a stay here for one night while movers cleared out our home. We weighed our options with hotels and other places and decided on this one because it had a hot tub and air conditioning. Check in was easy and the place was pretty clean. Upon arrival we brought our things in and made sure the AC was on. It was and was set to 70. We went out back to check the hot tub and it was cold. We set the temp to 104 to hopefully heat it. We left to go grab a bite to eat and do some shopping. We were excited to get back to relax in the hot tub. When we arrived back it was hot inside. We checked the thermostat and it was 76 degrees. We went out back to see if the outside unit was on and it was frozen.I took pictures and video of it for the host.We found the inside unit in the garage to see if it was on and it wasn't. The pipes were frozen coming from the unit. We immediately turned the AC off at the thermostat to thaw it out. We then checked the hot tub which was no where near what it needed to be.i contacted the host and explained the issues. The host was quick with a reply of hmmm, the last guest and housek
