Stayed Jan 8, 2025We had high hopes for this place as we had met the owner and enjoyed talking to him. Pictures looked great. We arrived to have white powder all around the house and even inside the bedroom windows. They say it was safe but looking it up was not safe for us. There was mouse traps behind the couches in the living room, we plugged a hole upstairs in the sunroom where I am sure critters were coming in. A lot of unfinished projects inside, light switches that went to, who knows, loose stair railings, closets with hangers but no rods to hang anything. Very dangerous step in downstairs bathroom to tub. The outside had wires just laying around, don't know what they went to. Clearly landscaper hadn't been around, lots of debris everywhere. We talked to owner and got excuses, no one to come and fix things. This place could be beautiful, all tags were still on couches, in dressers and cabinets. Beautifully decorated, needs a lot of TLC. Great neighborhood. We ended up having to find another place quickly to stay for safety reasons. We worked with Evolve and eventually did get our money refunded. We wish the owner well but hope he get everything taken care of before renting.
