Hot Tub, Deck + Game Room: Port Angeles Home

Thank you for sharing your home for our winter visit to Port Angeles. Your home was perfect for my family. We had one child with us and she enjoyed the playroom very much. We had asked about the hot tub before arriving to make sure it was available and it was delightful. We really enjoyed it. Your kitchen is so well stocked for cooking. I couldn't ask for anything more in a vacation home. My family had a problem with their car. We appreciate how you stepped in to help them.

The hot tub was super clean and wonderful. The house itself was very clean. The cameras are obnoxious. The signs that you are being watched are not comforting. The fact that they record sound is even worse. My wife did not feel safe with the cameras on/around. The online listing talking about the second rental on the property needs work. I missed this fact and it needs to be more clearly communicated. For what the house costs per night…, I do not want to share a property with other people. That is the whole point of renting a property instead of a hotel. There was a car and a trailer that had water and electricity run to it when we pulled up to the property. It looked like someone was already on the property. I have PTSD, I have never had this type of experience with VRBO and it severely triggered my PTSD. When I contacted the host I had to wait around 45 minutes for a response because she was taking a nap.The host informed me that she has 11 cars and is selling this one. She said that I should not have been bothered by the car or her horse trailer. There are 3 sets of rules that we found. One online, one on the door, one by the kitchen. The smoking policy is different on each one. We’ll never stay in a property managed by Evolve again. I had to put in a ton of effort to make this vacation positive after the hiccups and uncomfortableness on the property.

We loved seeing the deer so close to the house. And the house was just nice and cozy.

Phenomenal! Kids and grandkids had a great time. Very kid friendly! Wonderful to have so many kid things around. We enjoyed the deer!!

We had a great experience! The house was well equipped with everything you would need. Lots of space to spread out as well as nice outdoor spaces to relax after a long day of exploring the area! The owners have great pride in their house and want to make sure you have a great experience. I would definitely stay there again if I were to be in that area.

We had a fabulous stay. The house was well appointed and stocked with supplies. The grands had fun with the games, and the gazebo was super nice. We didn’t hot tub but enjoyed the fire pit and the lovely setting. Very peaceful.

It was an amazing stay, the hosts were really responsive and the check in/check out clear instructions were very clear. The house was in excellent condition and the location was very convenient to access Hurricane ridge

We had a great stay - the house layout was great and we had everything we could have possibly needed. We would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay. Enough room for everyone. It had recently snowed and the yard was covered in snow, that was visible from the sitting area, our entire stay. That was an unexpected bonus! The visiting deer were great as well!

Nice house

We had family visiting from Europe and we wanted to take them out to the peninsula. The house was big enough for all of us and very comfortable.

A great place and a perfect location as we were extended family going to the peninsula for a large birthday party and decided to extend it out a little. A huge bonus was the number of deer all around. I took the puppy on multiple walks a day down the road and around every corner were more deer. So many in fact that by the time our stay was over the puppy no longer cared that they were there. :) The house is spread out enough that individual groups can have their own space and the common areas are large enough that we didn't get under-foot of each other. There are only two things to be aware of: - Dog Friendly: We have a puppy that could not be left alone, so the dog-friendly listing was essential. Somehow I didn't realize until we got there that dogs are not allowed on the furniture. Our puppy is used to sleeping with us and it was difficult to enforce that rule. - The loft in the garage is a separate listing, and while this was not an issue, it did mean an unknown dog on premises with unexpected meet-ups when being taken out. Again, not an issue, just something to be aware of. all and all it was a great place and the owners were easy to communicate with. We would certainly stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. It was clean and had most of the amenities one would expect from a vacation home, plus some extras like an ice maker and jacuzzi tub. The layout was great for our crew of 5 kids. We enjoyed the wildlife and close proximity to town and the park. We would have liked to have known about the construction. In addition, the Carpenter did not leave the unfinished work in the safest way possible. We couldn't enjoy the hot tub which was disappointing. The king bed is completely worn out and very uncomfortable. At the rear of the property there is a very steep drop and no barrier that would be a fatal fall. With small kids, that made me nervous.

Great place location-wise. Super quiet and well stocked. Overall an amazing stay. Only issues were no curtain in upstairs bathroom which looked directly at deck next door - which has clear view into bathroom / shower. Also no curtain in bedroom. Loft next door was rented and it was fine but sometimes an issue with their floodlight on.

Stay if you want to wake up to deer in your front yard and a peaceful, tucked away house with all the amenities you could need

Room for everyone. Equipped with everything we needed. Perfect place to rest after day of exploring. Loved the deer!

We enjoyed our stay over Memorial Day weekend and ventured out to nearby Olympic National Park each day. It was a great base location to explore the area and was very comfortable except it is lacking dining space for a larger group.
