Hot Tub 2-bedroom 2 full bath all comforts of home in Galena countryside

The house was absolutely adorable! Super clean, well organized, beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful time there.

We had a wonderful stay at this cute and cozy remodeled schoolhouse just minutes outside of Galena. The charm of its history combined with modern updates made it such a unique and comfortable place to stay. The home was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It felt peaceful and private while still being a short drive to all the shops, restaurants, and attractions Galena has to offer. You can truly feel the care that went into preserving the character of the old one-room schoolhouse while making it warm and inviting. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special, memorable place to stay near Galena!

This place is just the best!!!! Amazing to think it was a schoolhouse at one point. The beds were so comfortable! Close to things but still very quiet and private. And we loved having an equal number of bathrooms to bedrooms ratio. That is very difficult to find at properties.

What a beautiful property. Clean, private, and a perfect get-away for my family. My parents loved the house so much we almost had to drag them out! We loved everything about it, but my favorite part was definitely the hottub and the fire pit outside. Would definitely love to come back in the future!

Our stay was excellent! The house itself was gorgeous, incredibly comfortable and was a really luxurious experience. The hottub especially was perfect on a cold night looking up at the stars!Definitely recommended for an incredible stay after a day exploring Galena!

Our stay was amazing! The Pleasant View School was a perfect getaway for my wife and I. It is warm and inviting and very clean. Close to Galena and Dubuque. The school house theme was great and interesting history too. A great view of the sunset. A welcoming hand written note from our host was a nice personal touch.

This converted school house is charming, clean, easy to get to, and all around perfect. We loved every minute at this home. Check-in and out was a breeze. Would book again in a heartbeat.

This was the perfect stay for my wife and I. Beautiful home and decor, it had everything we needed. Hot tub was a great added touch for a cold evening. Was fun to read the history on this property from a one room school house to an amazing couples get away. Krista was attentive to every detail and answered any questions immediately. Couldn’t as for a better property or host. Definitely will stay again.

Beautifully restored school house. Great quiet place for two couples just outside of town. Nice subtle “schoolhouse theme” and equipped with everything we needed. Simple and clean. Hot tub and fire pit space was perfect and private. Beds were comfortable. Views out the large rear window are great.

We had a great stay! The property was perfect for our group of four adults and two kids. It’s a great size, clean, well stocked and has an amazing view. The hosts did a wonderful job when they remodeled the property. We appreciated all the little details and thoughtfulness that went into it. The place is well stocked with quality products, which was also appreciated. We would definitely stay here again!

This property exceeded any expectations we had for girlfriends get away in Galena. The time, hard work and thought the host put into this property shows in every detail. Very comfortable, very clean, and beautiful touches...loved being out in the country but super close easy drive into town. Took me right back to growing up on a farm. Patio was perfect for dinner & snack time. We will be back!

My 4 adult boys and I stayed here for our trip to The Field of Dreams movie site. The property was wonderful. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed a nice evening around the fire pit and in the hot tub. Hire was awesome! Great communication before during and after (we left something in the dryer). Definitely recommend the property and I may come back to spend more time in the beautiful Galena downtown with my wife

Great property. Much more space than we anticipated. Basically two masters.

I typically rent houses when I travel with my wife or with the entire family. I've rented a lot of houses. This rental impressed me the most with the attention to detail. The decorating was perfect for the location. Everything was high quality -- especially the beds/towels. This house has everything you need or could possibly want while staying there. No need to run to the store at all. I have nothing bad to say about this rental. Thanks.

The décor creates such a welcoming atmosphere, and the home is stocked with everything you could possibly need to make your stay enjoyable.Thoughtful touches like a welcome letter, festive 4th of July bling, baskets of goodies, and cold waters waiting in the fridge were above and beyond—small extras that made a big difference.The outdoor area is perfect for relaxing: whether you're soaking in the hot tub, playing board games, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings, it offers a private, country feel. It’s just a short drive to Galena, where we enjoyed great food and shopping.Krista was incredibly responsive and available if we needed anything. My husband and I had a wonderful time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing getaway.
