We love everything about this house. Will definitely stay again!
Words cannot explain how surprised, thrilled and overjoyed we all were to have spent the weekend in such an amazing, comfy and extremely kewl house. We had 7 family members from different parts of the country come in for a wedding and from the moment we arrived we were so impressed by the beauty and warmth of this turn of the 20th century home. if it wasn't for the wedding we would never have left the house. Within minutes of arrival and exploring the house we all said we will definitely be coming back and for a much longer stay.
wonderful fireplace, great rooms. Very comfortable but not all the beds. Called about hot water off , never fixed it. Will come back after making some adjustments.
We have a family weekend to enjoy the leaves changing colors. This house was amazing with 5 nice size bedrooms and the bonus mini apartment over the garage! Plenty of space for the entire family, very clean, kitchen well stocked, and nice attention to detail with soaps, dish detergent, and fresh ground coffee.
Great home! Definitely would recommend to anyone for a family vacation!
Really nice home away from home. Only issue is that one of the bedrooms was not really a bedroom but a bed in a closet and the 2nd floor was hot. But other than that it was great, very clean and stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.
We enjoyed our stay and will stay again but will bring fans to help push the ac from hallway into the BRs upstairs.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this 1920's craftsman cottage in Lake Junaluska. Although the lake was not visible from our cottage, we loved the cottage because it has a large porch with rocking chairs overlooking a lovely mountain vista. The birds , chipmunks and rabbits were fun to watch. The flower garden was lovely in front of the porch. We had plenty of room for our family and were glad that three bedrooms were downstairs to accommodate my elderly mother. The library, and games were enjoyable to look through as well as the period decor and pottery pieces throughout the cottage. A-plus! We would love to come back when the weather is cooler so that we could enjoy being outdoors for even longer. A fan on the front porch would be a wonderful addition for stifling hot days of summer.
Charming and old, but has all the comfort you need. The house was well stocked and very clean. Thanks for a great stay.
