Homestead Hideaway: Private Pool, Game Room, Theater, Summer Kitchen, Water Park, Near Disney

Homestead Hideaway was the perfect house for our large family. There's plenty of space to gather, eat dinner and have privacy when needed. The bedrooms are very comfortable and roomy. We all thought the location was great...walking distance to the main lobby, gym, Starbucks, restaurants and pools. We used the internal shuttle service when needed and it was easy, quick and great for our large group. The restaurants were also very good and we especially enjoyed Eleven. My only complaint is that it would have been nice to have a few supplies in the kitchen...salt, pepper, oil, sugar, foil, etc. The kitchen was completely empty and it was expensive to have to buy all of the items we needed for the week. We flew down and didn't realize that we would need to start from scratch. The staff and customer service was excellent and we look forward to coming back again next year.

The house was nice and clean, but did need some maintenance work. The sink in room five on the left would not drain. The exhaust fan above the grill does not work. The theater room chairs are in very bad shape and don't recline. There's some paint chipping and peeling. The pool area was nice and big prices were decent for drinks and food. It would've been nice to have a few more options for kids that never seemed to be enough floats, and several of them were deflated and just laying by the pool. Everyone we spoke to was very nice and professional, and the overall experience was very good

Reunion Resort was fabulous! The staff was excellent and truly engaged with resort guests. Our house provided everything we needed. The dryer and dishwasher should both be replaced as the quality did not meet the standards of a resort home. Perfect weather was an added bonus!

This hideaway is the perfect blend of a Floridian oasis but has all the comforts of home. From the movie theatre to the most comfortable beds, our stay here was incredible and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway!

Wanted to let you know there were two issues at the house. One, the water dispenser if the refrigerator door doesn't shut off automatically as it should. We often had water all over the floor. Two, the burners on the cooktop don't automatically ignite. We needed to use a lighter to use the cooktop. Beyond these two issues, we enjoyed our stay. Amenities are nice. We visited the water park twice. Loved the new text thread means of communication. worked much better than calls or in person visits when questions came up.

House: The house had adequate space and met our basic needs. However, it was clear that much required maintenance on the house had been deferred. Some equipment did not work, such as the grill vent, making the grill unusable. Also, the entire house was just worn out. The carpet needs to be replaced, walls and doors require painting. The biggest issue was the kitchen. The cookware was cheap and worn out or broken. The resort should give the entire house a refresh. Golf: We played all three courses. For the most part, we enjoyed the layouts. However, similar to the house, we found the courses to be in need of more TLC. In particular, the fairways were not in good shape and clearly require more meticulous care. However, the greens were all in good shape.

The house and amenities were great! Room and bathroom was clean. The house has everything you need for an excellent long term stay. My family and I will definitely be back.

We had the greatest time staying there for a week! Between the theater and the rec room and the swimming pool, we didn't even feel much need to go out much! Everything was immaculate and we will definitely be going back there again! Thanks so much!!

This was a clean and beautiful decorated rooms. Great home for a family with children. It has a theater room and pool for your enjoyment. We recommend this home to any group or family.
