Daughter picked wanting to go to glacier. We picked this home due to our original home falling through last minute. Home worked well. Could use some updates, but is what is advertised.
We booked the property months ahead out of excitement to see Montana. A week out I was so nervous it was going to be too small for our 7 person group. But it was perfect! The home is cozy and situated looking down over the lake. It was clean and well stocked. Beds were coming as wel! We met the owner one afternoon who was very pleasant and couldn’t be happier. Excellent stay and would book again.
Not our best stay. The property is dated and we happened to be there on a HOT weekend. NO AC, which is detailed in listing, but when it is midnight and it is 80 degrees inside and out, you are still miserable. Add a dead mouse in the middle of the kitchen floor during our stay, we were ready to leave. Lake is busy and dock doesn't work to leave boat tied on.
Echo Lake is a wonderful place for a vacation!
We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin. The best part was the view of the lake from back porch.
Absolutely loved this cabin and it’s location. The kitchen is well-equipped. We loved having a deck, a fire pit area with another table and chairs, and the dock area. The six of us had plenty of space to be together or separate. Would definitely recommend this place and come back again.
Our grand son went fishing before we were even unpacked. He had a catch right away. The water toys were great once we knew where they were located. Washer & dryer super, just an overall great time.
A dated property but very very clean - very much appreciated. The rental company was extremely helpful. I would recommend the property for small family get togethers. The lake views, nearby amenities and restful atmosphere was appreciated by all.
Echo Lake is a unique spot with beautiful mountain ranges surrounding the lake and clear, warm water for fun activities! My family rented jet skis and paddleboards and thought that the lake was the perfect size, not too big or small. The walk down to the dock is not recommended for elderly people because it is a little steep but the path zig zags and is clearly defined with dirt and rocks making it easy to get down. The cabin was very clean and was the perfect size for all 6 of us! It had everything we needed and is in a great location, right near the rental place and echo lake cafe, and about an 8 minute drive to Bigfork. The owners are super nice people and we had a blast! I definitely recommend this cabin for your next summer adventure. The cabin has been updated since these pictures were taken so its even nicer on the inside!
The dock and lake access we great after all day hikes in Glacier and Jewel Basin. Perfect for our family of five.
