We love the game room, fire pit, jacuzzi and poker table.
We loved the property, the drive at wasn’t as rough as we were mentally prepared for as long as you take it slow. The hot tub was a nice addition, kitchen and ample seating came in handy for a meal with the whole family. The fireplace and fire pit both kept us warm - the heater didn’t seem to catch up but we came with warm clothes and were very comfortable ? we would book again in a heartbeat
I stayed with a group of couples and two children. The listing is a little hard to find, but when one person found it and dropped a pin we were all able to find it from there. I do recommend trying to arrive in the daylight. We arrived at night and while the grounds are BEAUTIFUL, it's a little intimidating at night. The road does require 4wd in the winter or rain. It rained the entire weekend we were there and we were stuck in the house one day. The property is close to town, has a lovely view, and has just about everything you'd need at a vacation home. While the house is a bit older and there is no WiFi, there is plenty of space for everyone and we all had decent service. This house is not accessible, as there are stairs to just about every toilet and tub. Overall, it was a very nice stay. The host was communicative and the check in process was clear.
We absolutely loved our stay here! Beautiful and magical! We would love to visit again.
I liked the size of the house. There were lots of beds and linens and the house was stocked with everything we needed. However, the location of this home is not convenient to anything and it is very difficult to find and to travel back and forth to since it is on a rough gravel road that will tear up most cars unless you have a 4 wheel drive or big truck.
We had a great time at the property. It was a fantastic location for us to base out of and was so much nicer that staying in town with all the traffic. Really peaceful and clean. Great facilities and a few deer around in the mornings.
Amazing views and great for a large family vaction. Beautiful and serene. Stained linens should be replaced but overall an amazing place to have a family vacation. Hiking path onsite that hosts fresh blueberry and blackberry shrubs. Truly amazing.
Pros: - House had plenty of room for all of us (7 adults & 4 kids) - More than enough linens - Very secluded with beautiful views - Fire pit was a fun experience - We never ran out of hot water - Great water pressure (except in kitchen) - Hot tub is Excellent - Vacasa was easy to communicate with when we had questions and the grounds keepers living not far from the big house were super friendly and hospitable when we just happened to run into them at the gate - Beds were comfortable - AC works great and every room has ceiling fans - Road wasn’t as bad as I expected (definitely wouldn’t recommend coming in a sedan but SUVs, trucks & some minivans can get down the gravel road just fine- Chrysler Pacifica made it but wouldn’t recommend a Honda Odyssey since they sit lower) - Plenty of fun activities in the house to do when it was raining (billiards, ping pong, puzzles galore, monopoly, phase 10, multiple decks of cards, and poker tokens provided) Cons: -The house needs some updates: new rugs (current ones are very dirty/stained), kitchen needs under cabinet lighting- it’s dark, ironing board/iron missing, needs a broom & dustpan, front bathroom needs a window covering, broken tiles in kitchen & bathroom, pest control (rodent droppings found in bathroom drawer & flies everywhere), front door seal is missing -Trash service or locking bins (we were told to store all of the trash inside even though staying for 6 days, 11 ppl, & cooking most meals in the home)
The owner should make sure the house is properly equipped. There were eight of us and only two wine glasses, six coffee cups, and no blender. The house did have plenty of room for all of us.
The house is great and roomy for multiple people useage. Love how remote the location is but easy to get to downtown Eureka Springs. The non 4x4 path if car is loaded with people and items can bottom out in some places. Follow directions to a tee otherwise might get lost. Especially the end of pathway when they tell you to stay left. Seems like you are driving into dark woods but the house is there. The water does take forever to get warm. The place has a great sudsy hot tub, ping pong table is fun, most of the beds were fairly comfortable. Some minor issues a couple broken chairs, pool table had some damage, broken window (previously mentioned in another review), front door can be difficult to lock. I would recommend this property especially for the price and ease of reserving.
We enjoyed our stay very much! Very relaxing with lots to do without even leaving the property. Thanks
It was great!
This place was beautiful, spacious, private with plenty of comfy beds and an abundance of games, both indoor and outside. Perfect for a family reunion or multiple families to stay. The driveway was tricky, even for seasoned drivers, in an SUV. The labyrinth was actually just stones on the ground in a maze form, but could be fun for little ones. Would have liked to see more history on the place once we were there, as there was no more info except in the initial description. Overall a great stay in a unique setting. Eureka Springs and Beaver Lake were both wonderful as well.
We had a wonderful stay with our family for our son’s wedding. It was spacious and basic needs.
The lodge accommodations were better than we had anticipated ...loved the secluded quiet area.... Located only a few minutes from popular attractions We had 13 in our party....plenty of room....the management was very helpful
