Roomy, clean and comfortable

The house was perfect for our family’s stay. Well furnished, everything matched the listing and was cool, clean, and comfortable. All appliances worked flawlessly. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and the laundry room and freezer were very helpful. The boat lift was much appreciated and it saved us a lot of time not having to trailer the boat each day. The host was very friendly and responsive. We will definitely request to stay again. Our only suggestion that might have improved our experience is to include a full size or queen bed upstairs in the loft to replace a couple twin beds. We understand that twin beds are great for families with a lot of kids, but would accommodate another couple if there was a larger bed available.

My husband and three of my sisters took a short spring trip to this lovely home. The house is well stocked with necessary kitchenwares, bed linens, towels and bath items.Our second stay at this home and my sister’s first trip to Matagorda. We had a great time fishing on the home’s pier and looking for shells at the beach. We had one rainy morning that we spent visiting, working jigsaw puzzles and crafting. We also shopped at Palacios and then bought jasmine rice at HG Rice Mill.

The house was awesome. Plenty of room, great location and very clean.

Great property on the river close to the beach

This property is amazing. Kitchen is very equipped with everything and the beds are so comfortable. Cabin was very clean and smelled amazing. Martha was so easy to work with. Will definitely go back

We enjoyed our stay. We didn’t have any problems at all with the property. Everything worked and there was plenty of room for all 6 of us adults. We caught plenty of fish right off the dock and the area seems safe. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It had a great outdoor space to stretch out and fish. Indoors was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed.

Pleasantly surprised at the house and amenities. Fishing was horrible. Plenty of crabs to catch if that is what you want. A surprise tropical storm and storm surge around house and other properties. Wish there were a few more amenities in Matagorda.

This is such a great place! The downstairs patio area has picnic tables, a swing, bathroom and laundry room. Our group ranged in age from 17 to 95 and we were all very comfortable. Martha was quick to respond to our texts and answer questions.The floor plan allowed our 3 households to merge under one roof with each family having their own bedroom and bathroom. This is our third year in this area and it is the best home we have stayed in and hope to come again. I highly recommend the property.
