Hollywood Hills - Hilltop Penthouse - Breath Taking Views

We have been wavering as to how to report on our stay, but we realize that it is our responsibility to report what the place is really like. The images used in the ad are nothing like the real building. Upon our arrival, we found stained rugs are stained, a broken toilet seat, windows and sliding doors that wouldn't open, and tattered furniture . . . the list goes on. It reminded me of rundown college housing. Yes, we considered walking out but we made the most of it and enjoyed our stay. Heck, my sister-in-law was laughing as she told us about the shower handle that fell off in her hand. We will post photos if that option is available.

This house was so adorable and had the most amazing city views. Great spot to enjoy LA from!

I am shocked at the reviews of this place...its filthy dusty and dirty...deck is falling apart and has nails exposed in certain places. The furniture is broken and falling apart...the curtains have not been cleaned in who knows how many years... The pictures look nothing like the apartment - fake plants are old and color faded, cheap plastic meshing surrounds the balcony. Not worth the money.............

This Hollywood Hills penthouse had plenty of room for our family of 6. Communication with the owner/mgt team was easy and check in was a breeze. Beautiful views and great location. We definitely enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Wow – this villa was definitely on a hilltop in the Hollywood Hills but so incredibly close to everything, even the Hollywood Bowl. The views are absolutely spectacular and the home décor was unique and fantastic. We would definitely return to this home again – it was great!

The night views, especially, in this villa, are spectacular. My family sat out on the deck in the evening and at night and saw Los Angeles lit up. It had all the space we needed and was decorated very artistically – not your typical boring hotel décor. We loved it!

This house is was half renovated: trimming half finished in bathrooms. Upstairs deck is a mess. Bathrooms unfinished. Plumbing fixtures in backwards. Old furniture. Pots in bad shape. House was wiped down but not deep cleaned. Linens are old and icky. Parking is impossible. Amazing view.Great location including walking distance to downtown Hollywood. Endless additional fees from cleaning to VRBO. I am a frequent VRBO renter and we would never go back to this house. House itself is a D. View is and A.

What a great find.... we loved it! The location was great, the home is spacious and relaxing and the view is spectacular. The manager was very accommodating. Check in / check out was a breeze. Hope we are able to stay here again in the future.

It’s hard to find a 3 bedroom affordable rental, much less in the Hollywood Hills. We had 6 people in our family, and this place fit us all perfectly. Loved the fact that the master bedroom (which has a lounge and its own bathroom and rooftop deck) was on the floor above – it made it very private. No frills, but the management was easy to communicate with and we had a small issue, they took care of it right away. Clean, convenient to Hollywood, and such a relief to be out of the traffic of LA in a “Hilltop” retreat.

Cool, AMAZING house – so much better than staying in a hotel, and a lot more room. For the price you can’t beat it.
