Holidays by the sea in Brittany Cléder

When we first arrived at the property we had to wait a few hours, which was a very big inconvenience as it was a Saturday evening and all the shops were shut so we struggled to stock up. When we arrived the landlords wanted lots of extra money for wifi, towels, and cleaning (which we opted to do ourselves)etc which I found unsual as generally its all part of the price paid through Vrbo, however they wanted more privately.The house itself was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. However on the last day we felt our hoilday was ruined as after cleaning the property throughly and following all the instruction left, even cleaning windows and washing all the towels etc we were sent very rude messages stating it wasnt professionally cleaned enough. I have arthritis in my spine and couldnt not lift an extreme heavy sofa bed, which apparently had a few clean drinking straws and a empty packet under. We feel that the landlords were going out of there way to find anything to try and claim more money. We didnt wash the table cloth my son spilled coke on as we didnt want to ruin it, however never it all my years having a hoilday rental, has not washing a table cloth an issue, as it is something which generally done with the bedsheets.The table cloth was not ruined but they are trying tp claim damages . Out of principle I feel i should warn others as I did throughIy clean up and feel future tenants nèed to be warned that you'll be charged no matter how well you cleaned

Our Stay at the Kerfissien property was a much anticipated and needed break for our family at the end of May / beginning of June 2023. The booking in and arrival process (through the Vrbo Website) was painless and very efficient. Our Hosts, The Le Gall Family were very helpful and maintain their property to a high standard. The property was much bigger than we thought which was a welcome surprise. All the facilities including the Pool were very clean. The location is semi rural with plenty of local walks on hand, but also close to several good beaches. Larger shops are a 15-20 min car trip away, but we stocked up using the big fridge-freezer. There was even a walk in pantry at the property!. Our host were on hand to sort any issues we had during our stay and kept in touch. Very Helpful. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful and relaxing time, with a big pool, in a secure walled location. We thank our hosts, the Le Gall family for the use of their property.

Lovely holiday home with a nice pool. Our 2 dogs loved having an enclosed garden to play in and we enjoyed being able to sit on the patio and watch the sunset over the pool. Good base for exploring this part of Brittany and in walking distance to a beach. Also not far from the lovely village of Plousecat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again some time.
