Ilam, Avonhead and close to the University in great school zones with free unlimited wifi - This is a cosy, recently refurbished throughout including new carpet & wallcoverings, single level 3 bedroom home with large fully fenced back yard, single garage with off street parking. Fully insulated, Gas hot water, fully kitted out kitchen including dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave etc dining room and separate lounge. Working desk and clothes washer and dryer. Heat pumpin the living room. All rooms have panel heaters and the sun streams into the living areas in the morning and round to the bedrooms in the afternoon - very cosy. Residential Broadband / wifi available. Living area opens out onto a deck and patio and beautiful big backyard, sheltered with trees and a gazebo. Lockable outside shed for bike storage etc.
10 min walk to Avonhead Mall, 6 min walk to Ilam shops. Bus a 4 min walk to Maidstone Rd to access city routes
This is the perfect location to still be close to schools, sporting facilities and the city.

    The house is comfortable and well equipped and is ideally located for exploring Christchurch and the wider area. (There is a bus route into Christchurch just a short walk away). Greg and Carmel were very helpful and we would recommend them as hosts.

    We had a very comfortable five-night stay at this great wee house. We loved sitting in the sun on the deck and in the big garden, and made good use of the office area. It was super handy to the airport and local shops and amenities. Excellent shower too! Communication with Carmen was amazing from start to finish. All up, we would happily stay again and recommend it for anyone looking for a comfy base in Christchurch.

    This place was ok but wasnt very clean. We doubted if the bedding was fresh...didnt seem so. Soap, dish wash etc containers were all empy. Cupboards contained empty containers.

    The property has a well equipped kitchen and tranquil garden at the back, both which made our stay memorable. A suggestion would be some fans for the inside as it can get quite hot and bbq facilities would've been nice as well. Other than that the property is close to all amenities and fully suited our purposes.

    Finding a property to fit two adults who are not partners and two teen boys is hard work, and this property was perfect for us. Good size house, large property, easy parking and good array of equipment in the kitchen. We were close to the airport and an easy drive into the city for sight seeing, and recommendations to get to the dairy and fish and chip shop were excellent.
