Stayed Jun 3, 2023The house is welcoming and perfectly suited for a small group. The location is pretty and quite and is ideal for exploring the national park with public transport or your own vehicle.

Stayed Jul 31, 2017The house was very well equipped, much better than anywhere else we have been. The terrace catches sun from early in the morning until well after midday, perfect for breakfast and lunch. Good parasol too. During the day some traffic noise is noticeable, but during the night only the sound of the nearby stream is. Very relaxing. The location is superb: 15 minutes walk to the Elbe for shopping and dining, and 5 minutes to the nearest tram stop. The tram is the perfect means of transport for walking tours in the Kirnitzsch valley, much better than using your own car. Also the train station is nearby for day trips to Dresden. The host is very friendly. He made two bikes available which we used for getting fresh rolls from the village in the morning. Very much recommended.
