Great place!

Great stay. We were blessed enough with the egg shortage to be given some eggs with our stay. Felt like a cozy little space, and had a lot of amenities that made it feel like home. The host was so kind and generous to us. Definitely book if you’re in the area!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay such a cozy and relaxing environment. We love the farm animals. I wish I had more time to spend.. This was our second time staying there and we’ll book it again for next year when I go on my family vacation it’s a great place to lay your head and it breaks up our 20 Hour Drive.

Such a cool property. Our family stayed here for one night on our road trip. It was amazing that it felt so rural but we weren't far from the city. The barn was really nice and updated, and the hosts definitely pay attention to little details to make sure it feels super comfortable. It was super cool to wake up in the morning and see a llama, goats, and chickens just beyond the fence. We spent a bunch of time just watching the animals before leaving in the morning. A unique, unforgettable stay. We'd definitely stay here again.

Very accommodating, responsive & friendly host. Close to Indy but totally rural setting - quiet & peaceful, with Icelandic sheep, llama, pigs, chickens & of course, farm cats. Access to own temp-controlled system. Full kitchen & bathroom with nice washer/dryer stack. Multiple stays here.

We love this place so much! It’s so peaceful and quiet. Always super clean upon arrival. Decorated beautifully! We’ve stayed here a total of four separate times now. Highly recommend it. The host is so quick to respond and wonderful!

The barn was super cute!! I can't be thankful enough for the fenced yard for the dogs after being in the car all day. Arrived late and left early so can't speak to much outside but everything seemed really nice and well taken care of!

Meadowdale Farm is a beautiful and quiet property! The fenced in yard is a plus for pet owners. Farm animals are on the other side of the fence so you can get up close! The inside of the home is beautifully decorated, clean and has everything you might need. Hosts are awesome - responsive and very accommodating! Definitely recommend!

Perfect spot for peace and relaxation. Just as beautiful as in the pictures. My dog loved the huge fence yard. Owner was kind enough to provide meet and information about farm animals. I mostly stayed at the farm. Felt secluded but close to sites near Indy if you wanted to go to activities

We came to Greenwood to visit our new grandson and did not want to stay in the city. My wife and I with our oldest son stayed on the farm and had a great time! We will definitely be back. We love the interaction with the animals, the peaceful quiet Feel of the farm. We love the history of it in our hosts were excellent! Everything was within 20 minutes that we needed so that was great as well. We loved having the full kitchen and icemaker along with washer and dryer for our one week stay. It’s also great to have a grill and a fire pit so handy. We spent all evenings out on the patio watching the sunset and enjoying time with the kitty cats. The air-conditioning was great and the property was very clean. It was great to have a nice bed and great televisions as well as a dishwasher.We will be back to stay again

Easy check-in, beautiful property and so peaceful! The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Owners were always available for any questions or concerns. The farm setting and the farm animals were so much fun to observe.I wouldn't have changed a thing, and hope we have the opportunity to stay here again on our next trip to Indiana.

Beautiful property. Originally from Indy and visiting from Texas. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. Everything was so clean, comfortable and inviting. The location was quiet, peaceful and safe. The fresh farm eggs and view of the farm animals every day was one of many, best parts!

We had such a wonderful experience here, so relaxing and restful. There were many extras included that gave the place that touch above the rest. Our little Jack Russells loved the farm animals and fenced in yard to roam.

We had such a wonderful stay at this charming little farmhouse! It was spotless — one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed — and so cozy and welcoming. The property was perfect for traveling with our dogs, with plenty of space to roam and explore.We absolutely loved waking up to fresh farm eggs for breakfast — such a nice touch! The kitchen was stocked with high-quality pans and the outdoor grill was great for cooking up meals in the evening. The animals on the farm added to the peaceful, homey vibe — it felt like a true getaway.Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a clean, dog-friendly home with a little extra charm. This was my second visit. The space is beautiful and clean. The fenced in yard is such a great amenity. Two baby goats ran to greet us and the llama and one hen in particular were very friendly. My dogs had so much fun and got good exercise after being cooped up due to the heatwaves. Inside, cool A/C awaited. Sitting on the patio is so peaceful and there were no bugs at all. I love this place!

We were traveling from Boston to visit family in Indianapolis and I was looking for a different type of stay. This city girl is getting tired of staying in hotels. We have an Australian Labradoodle who is 15 1/2 years old and I wanted to be able to just let him out the door to walk, wander and play in the fenced in backyard. This property could not have been better. A all around. Super clean, everything was new and just as described. The hosts were amazing. The property was so fun being able to see their farm animals, watch an amazing sunset and great opportunity to just chill out, have some wine on the patio, grill some dinner and relax. The hosts even left us some fresh eggs, which were absolutely delicious for breakfast; I never realized what I was missing until I had fresh eggs. We will definitely be back. This is a hidden gem, 10 stars all around. My husband enjoyed meeting the owner, learning about him, the property, etc. I’m already looking at booking other dates in the future when we’ll be in Indianapolis visiting family. We love staying here! This was our third time! We took our kiddos with us this time. We made so many good memories. The place is so clean! It’s beautifully decorated! The animals are so nice and we loved letting them. The views are incredible and it’s so quiet and peaceful. They have everything you need there as well! Highly recommend. The host are so quick to respond! All around wonderful experience.

A friend and I stayed with our 7 year old daughters for an overnight to break up a hiking trip drive. The property was beautiful inside and out. Our girls loved the animals. The owners were so sweet and went above and beyond to make our stay special.

This VRBO property was extremely clean and provided many thoughtful extras such as travel coffee cups and k-cups for the people as well as dog bowls and dog biscuits for the dog. We will be back!

I cannot begin to tell you all the good things! Chris was more than happy to talk to us and explain parts of the farm. Everything was so positive. Nice area to sit outside and drink your morning coffee and can watch all sorts of animals in the lot beside you.

We had a wonderful stay here! The barn was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and we loved the check in booklet with all of the information. We enjoyed learning about the farm and animals. It was so much fun getting to watch the animals eat and move around each day, especially Sam the llama. We also enjoyed holding the baby goats. We felt right at home and the farm comes highly recommended.

This one night stay was in the middle of our destination so we were only there for about 9 hours but everything was perfect. Since we checked in very late I wanted the check in process to go smooth and it was flawless. Place was clean and had everything we wanted and needed. It was a little out of town which is also what we wanted. We planned to hit the road right away in the morning but instead made a quick breakfast and explored the place a little bit. The kids were able to feed the animals which was a perfect extra touch. The owners were very nice. We would definately stay there again.

This is the best house I've stayed in thus far. When I tell y'all there is nothing lacking at this house, I mean just that!!!

We have tried to stay at Meadowdale farm but this was the first time it was actually available for our dates: it was worth the wait. The farm is a peaceful place to stay. All the farm animals and the two cats were welcoming. Maybe next time we will actually have time to meet the llama, the goats, the pigs, and the chickens. The cats both welcomed us as they accompanied us to the door. This location was within 15 minutes of the family we were visiting. The real plus for us as there are no stairs like other locations we have tried. We would love to stay here again.

I was over the moon impressed with such a beautiful and attentive to every cozy detail for a warm and welcoming stay! You know you hit the lottery when your teenager tells you this is awesome. We couldn’t have been any more pleased. We were doing a one night stay after a 14 hour drive home and I wish we had more time. 100 stars! Thank you.

This is an immaculate, cozy, comfortable stay. We loved that they gave us fresh eggs from their chickens. It was so much fun watching the farm animals right from our backyard. No need to think twice. Book it.

We love this place. We were able to see 13 baby sheep. Twins were born while we were there, which was pretty cool. It was so awesome watching all the barn animals and we cannot wait to come back for our future visits.

Easy to get to and in. Not far from town. Very clean. Up to date inside and out. The animals are sweet and it’s perfect for the dog you bring(fenced, large yard). Beautiful sunsets and rises. Great price. Everything peaceful and wonderful.

What a perfect place for us to stay when we are in the area for basketball tournaments! Great little home away from home! We have booked this place for every tournament in the area!

My husband and I spent three peaceful days at this lovely rental. The home was clean, comfortable and offered gorgeous views of the countryside, There was a variety of friendly farm animals that were introduced to us and welcomed our visit. The WiFi, fireplace and smart Tv worked without a hitch. If we visit the Indianapolis area again, we will definitely return.

We stayed one night to recover from a stressful stay at Riley Hospital before heading back to our home city. It’s an absolutely adorable one bedroom with so many amenities available. Getting to meet the animals was spectacular, and our kind host answered all of my curious questions about farm life. The only things I’d change if we stayed again would be curtains in the bedroom, and maybe a soft mattress topper. The mattress was VERY firm so I opted to sleep on the couch. Everything else was perfect and it definitely felt like a little home away from home. Thank you to the excellent hosts!

Daughter had a gymnastics meet in Indianapolis and this property served as a perfect place for us. Super clean and comfortable and very accommodating with our dogs. Definitely reccomend.

The property was wonderful. We used it as a stopping point on our way down South. We ended up getting stuck in a snowstorm, and the host was great. They shoveled the walkways and around the car, warned us about road conditions around, and even accommodated us for an extra evening when we were snowed in. The place was clean and very accessible. We would absolutely stay again!

Everything was as advertised and perfect. The only issue I had was that my back did not like the very firm mattress.

Unique vrbo stay with farm animals in apartment in new barn. We were greeted by 5 cats. Apartment was everything advertised with nice touches and a welcoming feeling. Got to see the farm animals and play with the dogs. What more could you ask for! Chris was very helpful with our questions.

We wish we had taken more time to spend here! The property is beautiful and so is the rental - matches the description perfectly! We used it as a place to stop to break up our trip south. We stayed with my parents and our infant daughter. There was plenty of space for all of us, including the bassinet we brought. My parents did say that the pullout bed was a bit rough to spend the night on, but we would totally book this place for just ourselves for a long weekend. We were greeted with some very friendly cats and when we woke up we spent some time saying hi to the other animals. 9.5/10 most definitely thinking of staying here again!

Really cute a quiet apartment. Easy access from the interstate. Only odd thing.. I was greeted by a few cats that meowed constantly and tried to get inside every time I walked to and from the car. Even jumped on top of the car as I was driving.

We enjoyed our stay very much! We didn’t want to stay in a typical hotel downtown, so we made the slightly longer drive to stay somewhere unique and private. Loved the accommodations and they had everything we needed plus fresh eggs! I would stay here again.

Amazing little farmhouse. Farm fresh eggs the first morning were delicious. Chris and Vicky were easily contacted but remained secluded from our stay. Our son was so excited to get to meet and feed the animals. Tay the cat was the friendliest sweetest kitty. Would definitely recommend. Easy drive into downtown for our trips to the children's museum, zoo, and Colts game. Will likely book again next trip.

We just stopped in overnight on our way west. The property is well kept and very clean. Cute little farm in the middle of cornfields but right on the edge of suburbs. Very nice!

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was really clean and the farm style decor and decorations were just lovely. We really appreciated the eggs from the chickens that are on the property! It was awesome that the animals were all so close but it was such a quiet and tranquil place. The kitty friends were the highlight for us! Great location, close to everything but you feel you are in your own little piece of paradise. Hosts were communicative throughout the process, would definitely recommend and stay here again!
