Historic Marshall house w/3 King sized beds, 11 total beds & saltwater Pool

We stayed at this property because our youngest son was getting married. We needed a big house to accommodate our large family and the house and property handled the 15 of us easily. It is a BEAUTIFUL home and the pool is a huge bonus, it kept our grandchildren busy! The owners are great, very attentive and responsive, we would definitely come back for another family event.

We were looking for a house that would sleep 14 people. This family was here from out of town for a sudden death in the family and this house was the perfect place for them all to come together. It was so perfect for the adults and children. The host were more than hospitable and were very helpful.

The host well prepared the entrance for the ice/snow. It is a lovely home. We were extremely satisfied.

Beautiful home for our family Thanksgiving gathering. Even though we didn’t get to enjoy the pool we were able to enjoy the backyard and the neighborhood for our morning walks. Several coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance and beautiful homes to walk through. The house itself was so welcoming - tons of kitchen gear like spices and oils, paper products, comfy beds, games for the kids and adults alike. Several rooms for gathering and a large dining room table for games and eating together. The hosts were so helpful with any questions we had and the house manual was so helpful. I feel like they thought of everything we needed. Thank you!

The Marshall House is beautiful and the grounds are so private and relaxing! Although the pool was too cold for us to swim in during our late October stay, the fact that it was uncovered allowed us to sit beside it and enjoy the calming view. The house was clean and equipped with everything we needed, and it’s close to restaurants. This house is a truly majestic piece of history; there are so many places to relax, so many porches from which to enjoy privacy, a glass of wine, or just read a book. It’s incredibly relaxing. The property more than lives up to the photos.

We loved our stay! The home is historic and eclectic with so much character, and the owners truly thought of everything — the house was fully stocked with all the essentials (and more). It was spacious yet cozy, perfect for our family of three. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive. Highly recommend!

Second time we have stayed her and the home is absolutely amazing. Clean, well stocked, and the owners are super nice to deal with! The location is also excellent as you can be anywhere in Richmond in 10 minutes. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!!

We had such a great weekend at your vacation property! We had the opportunity to do a Sound Bath outside by the pool on Saturday and a wine glass painting event on Sunday. The patio and pool area was perfect for gathering around for all of our meals, our morning coffee and afternoon happy hours. I have never stayed in a home that was so well stocked before. Everything we needed was right there!!! We would love to come and stay there again in the future!

Our book club group has stayed at many higher end house rentals and this was our favorite. The Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Mediterranean style estate is an eclectic show stopper! The hosts thought of everything to make our stay special. There are so many comfy areas to congregate, but if the weather is nice the pool patio area is perfect. The kitchen is stocked with high appliances and has everything you need to prepare a meal.The beds were super comfy and the bathrooms luxurious.We loved the location close to everything, but residential. The hosts were friendly, generous so easy to work with. Thank you for a wonderful weekend getaway!

My son and his wife were married the last weekend in March in Richmond. The beautiful and historic Marshall House was a wonderful place for extended family to stay and experience a sense of togetherness that was vastly superior to (and actually more affordable than) a block of hotel rooms. The interior was spacious and had numerous areas for sitting and conversing. Paul and Kim were very conscientious hosts, and I had the pleasure of meeting Paul. The Marshall House added so much to a wonderful wedding weekend! I could also envision the residence as simply a wonderful getaway for multiple families to convene. It truly was spectacular and I highly recommend it!!

Out of town family stayed in this lovely property for our after Christmas reunion. The kitchen, sitting area was our favorite spot because we could all be together while cooking, watching football or going outside to play corn hole, etc. Equally nice was the large living room where we able to get everyone in to do our gift exchange. And, we had extra chairs and side table to enlarge the space for our dinner. Having different areas also made it great for folks that needed a little respite from the group. The kitchen had everything we needed and the extra touch of having tea and coffee and water was appreciated. The location is close to everything in town and the neighboring streets are lovely for walking. The owners were easily reached when we had a couple of questions.

Plenty of room for our family and stately dining room for Christmas Eve dinner. Clean, cozy den and comfortable beds. Everyone enjoyed!

We had a group of 11 women that all graduated high school together 37 years ago!! This house was absolutely perfect!! The kitchen was beautiful, and so well appointed with everything you could possibly need. There is a bar to sit at and a room off the kitchen that was wonderful for plenty of people to sit around and catch up! We spent a lot of time at the covered seating area outside by the pool, with the sun shining in. The pool has lounge chairs and umbrellas. A few of us used the pool for cold-plunging, as it was mid-November! We all thought it was so nice the house was stocked with supplies. There was shampoo, lotion, a ton of laundry detergent, Keurig pods, great spices, you name it! There was plenty of parking in the driveway and the neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. We would all highly recommend the Marshall House to anyone!!

I visited Richmond with my large family, and this was the perfect home for our visit. There are five bedrooms and a room on the first floor that was easily converted into a six bedroom with a pull out couch house as well stocked and clean. We definitely hope to return soon.

Amazing amazing property! Hosts thought out everything to make their home warm comfortable and very well appointed. Stayed with a group of friend couples and no one wanted to leave. We literally stayed up to 1 minute before checkout. I have rented many homes and this one stands out at the top. Look forward to renting again.

The Historic Marshall House was a wonderful place for our weekend stay in Richmond. The house was beautiful, the rooms spacious, the bedrooms very comfortable, and the pool lovely. We would rent this property again for another event in Richmond!
