We had an absolutely amazing stay at this lake house! The views are breathtaking, and the serenity of the surroundings made it the perfect place to relax and recharge. The home itself is beautiful, comfortable, and truly makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive.The owners are incredibly helpful, kind, and very approachable, which made our stay even better. They were always available if we had questions and clearly care about their guests’ experience.I highly recommend this lake house to anyone looking for a peaceful, memorable getaway. We can’t wait to come back!

This was our third visit and all three visits were very good. The location is great and the view is amazing especially the sunrise over the lake. (Breath taking)

We enjoy how close this property is to Bok Tower and the fact that it has a beautiful, quiet location on a lake. The home is clean and well-stocked with towels, cooking supplies, novels to read, and a piano! (My only problem came when it was time to check out and I struggled to see the numbers on the lock box in the dark, but that is probably as much my aging eyes as anything!) Thank you for sharing this lovely home with us. Looking forward to staying here again.

Thank you for the pleasure of staying at the Lake House! We came for business, but the morning views and home-away-from-home vibes made it also a very relaxing experience. It was wonderful to meet and chat with William on his Saturday tending to the crop.

Even though Florida's weather wasn't cooperating (cool with periods of liquid sunshine) during part of our visit, we stayed warm and dry while enjoying some of the many distractions this home offers, including large collections of books, puzzles and games, solid Internet connections, etc. Once the sun finally made a showing, early morning mists were followed by stunning views of Lake Starr. And the views remain awsome all day long and into the evening. We will be back to enjoy more of the beauty and relaxation offered by the wonderful Lake House!

Sandra and Bill are incredible hosts! Check-in instructions were super detailed and helpful. The lake house is as pictured; spacious, charming, very clean and well stocked. The location was perfect; secluded yet close to everything. The deck, bar-b-que and priceless lake view provided one of the best meals and memorable moments. The purpose of our trip was to disconnect and spend quality time with our young kids (5 & 1) in a safe and peaceful setting. We seldom stay in the same place twice but this is an exceptional home and plan to come back.

I wish my plans had not changed and that I would have had more time at the property. It was very relaxing and the amount of games/books/misc the owner left as relaxation activities was amazing. The communication from the owner was fantastic. Very spot on and friendly. If I ever go to the Lake Wales area again, this is definitely my first place to stay.
