Historic Home in Heart of Nye Beach with Ocean Views & Private Outdoor Hot Tub

Highly recommend this charming and gracious home! It's an older building, so it's creaky in places, but it is beautiful, comfortable, and well-appointed. These hosts have clearly gone to great effort to get the details right. The beds are very comfortable, and there are plenty of extra blankets for chilly nights. I really appreciate the luggage racks in the bedrooms. Towels are fluffy and plentiful. The kitchen is well-equipped (the knives could use sharpening, but that's minor). The binder of instructions is thorough and informative. And the decor is so lovely! It feels maritime, but you'll find no cheesy mass-produced Life's a Beach signs here; instead, there are beautiful and interesting art pieces, many of which are originals, and knick-knacks. We especially liked the vintage barometers and the glass seascape by the ovens. You can tell that these items were thoughtfully chosen over time, creating a unique vibe and a real feeling of home. The main floor living spaces are cozy and relaxing, and the downstairs rec room is a great hangout space. The ocean views are very nice. The hosts are communicative. And the location, just a couple of blocks from several of our favorite area restaurants and shops, is fantastic!One note for future renters: arrive while it's still light if you can. The driveway is easy to miss in the dark, and it's a little hard to see where to park.

An exceptionally beautiful and well maintained historical home. A long way to the beach, uneven heat in home, and inaccessible hot tub kept it from bring perfect.

This is a beautiful home with ocean views, comfortable furniture, a fully stocked kitchen and a fantastic location in Nye Beach. The pool table was a great extra to have. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay here again.

First and foremost, the hosts are on top of communicating! They were delightful & helpful in asssisting us with our needs. The home was beautifully kept & clean. Location could not have been more perfect for access to the beach as well as the home offering something for everyone in terms of space. Games, pool table, hot tub, a fully stocked kitchen for cooking meals, beautiful views, and plenty of areas for visiting (all levels provide for different entertainment). No doubt one of the best places to stay in the Newport area. We loved the home & location and hope to return! Thank you to our hosts!

From beginning to end, our stay was wonderful. The house and location are lovely. We were close to the beach and downtown area. The house had everything we needed and more. We were grateful for the coffee and beach towels. Our hosts were communicative and friendly. They were quick to respond to questions. We especially loved the views out the windows. We had three young kids with us and the house was perfect for them, too. Lots of games to play. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Our adult children and their significant others came together to celebrate our oldest son’s commissioning and graduation. We had never stayed in Newport before but I’d visited the nearby aquarium and tide pools. We loved this adorable older home which was charming and perfectly located with a view of the ocean and plenty of comfortable chairs. The kitchen was well supplied for cooking, and we found everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and fun. Our hosts were extremely good about communicating with us. I would highly recommend staying here.

Good location, place was nice. They answered any questions in a timely manner. Only negative was you get a list of tasks to complete before checking out. Some of which should be included in the cleaning fee.

This home has been beautifully restored and is obviously loved by the owners. Being around 100 year old it is a little quirky in a few ways (squeaky floors and stairways, but the many beautiful touches and up to date conveniences (modern kitchen, on demand hot water) more than make up for any quirks. The home is simply charming, a very short walk to downtown Nye Beach and the beach itself, and the hosts are great.

This is a lovely home. We loved all the original woodwork and window seats with ocean views. The beds are comfortable and the home has a nice kitchen. The location is great for walking to the beach and some shops and restaurants. My kids loved the games, pool table, and hot tub. The hosts were extremely responsive and communicated well throughout. We would highly recommend this beautiful beach home.

Lovely historic home with great and modern amenities. Plenty of sitting in the living area, dining table held all of us, and the double ovenwas amazing. Everything within walking distance? was amazing.

We enjoyed an excellent stormy weekend at the house at Nye beach. We were at maximum capacity with 5 adults, two teens, and one toddler. The house had so much room, we never felt crowded. The living room and kitchen are bigger than they appear in the pictures. The hosts were very helpful and communicative The view was amazing and we can’t wait to return..

Location was perfect for trips to ocean and food at nye beach. We took advantage of most of the homes features - pool table, entertain system, and hot tub. Very enjoyable stay.

This adorable historic home has been nicely updated but still has the charm of a coastal cottage. It is very well stocked with supplies and the beds were very comfortable. The lovely home is very close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The host was very excellent at communicating all the needed information to make our stay perfect. A great time was had by all!

A really lovely home, well-equipped, comfortable, close to the town and the beach, but still very peaceful. Ample parking, great hot tub.

It was a lovely stay in a beautiful historic home. The space was flexible and accommodated myself and my daughter’s family of 4. They could even work in privacy remotely. The deck overlooked a neighborhood park. My grandson loved the skate park the Nye beach shops were a half block away and the beach was just 2 block. The views from the house of the ocean were excellent. The kitchen had everything we needed there were plenty of towels and dishes and pan. I appreciated the cleanliness.
