Stayed Mar 20, 2026We had a great time. The Hazel House is right in the middle of town with everything in walking distance. The property was well maintain and the house was just adorable. Also, Bryson City is a wonderful place to visit.

The renovation of the home was covered on the Perkins Builder Brothers YouTube channel so was able to see the quality of the renovation in real time.

Stayed Oct 11, 2025The Hazel House is so much fun! Being downtown and watching people and cars go by is mesmerizing! Every detail has been thought about… and Ashley is great to work with. Our granddaughter is six now and loves the old toy stand up chest. She runs to check it out first thing! Parking is great behind the house. You can walk to all the shops. Of course, we LOVE the train. The house is immaculately clean, and has everything you need in the kitchen. It’s an absolute gem in Bryson City! So thankful Ashley and her team restores and captures the magic of yesteryear! A in every aspect!

Look forward to going back. My family went for short weekend for the Polar Express and couldn’t have been more pleased. Thanks again to Ashley who also owns the art galley next door.

We love the Bryson City area and for future trips will only book the Hazel House. The property is spotless and the owner goes above and beyond to ensure that it is well stocked. The location is great because you can walk to book stores, restaurants and other retail stores. If you are coming to Bryson City, you need to stay at Hazel House.

The cute style, spotlessness, great location, comfort (including good mattresses!), amenities & thoughtful touches (umbrellas, games/toys, local coffee, diffuser of nice scents when we arrived) were perfect. Cannot say enough good things about this property & the nose! Can’t wait to go back next summer and will book early enough to make sure we get it.
