We enjoyed our time here. There were a few things missing that would have been nice to have like silverware for 4 and a few other cooking needs. The kitchen was awesome though and the beds and couch were very comfortable. It's also close to everything in Erie. We went to the beach, the mall, Waldameer and a Seawolves game. All were within a 10 minute drive. Definitely recommend if visiting Erie.

Modern kitchen, spacious living room, quiet neighborhood, and very responsive host. The house is 15 minutes away from the waterfront.

House was well equipped with amenities and close to a lot of places but could have used a good cleaning prior to our stay. Host was responsive.

The house was easy to find, an impressive white Italian style large house. There was lots of parking options, don’t park on the street, a neighbor told us. The interior downstairs was updated with a newer kitchen and living area. It was nice having a place to come back to after visiting Erie sights. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. Overall a good stay. A few suggestions; the couch could be firmer as we sat and sank and the television was hard to figure out so we used our computers.

We had a very comfortable stay. The house has plenty of space and the beds were comfortable. We cooked breakfast every morning and the kitchen is equipped with the appropriate kitchen supplies. Our host gave directions for checking in prior to our arrival & the dose was easy to use. We had a great trip.

We checked in online. Our host sent all the information to get on our home and everything was set up for our stay. We unfortunately forgot the baby stroller but we had one waiting for us there! Everyone was very comfortable!

Personally I thought this home was going to be a little nicer than it was. It was not bad but in my opinion not an 8 as it was rated on the site when we reserved it.

Owner was quick, responsive, and friendly with correspondence and questions prior to and during our stay. She gave us good recommendations for restaurants as we were new to the area. The inside of the rental was tidy and modern, nicely decorated with basic provisions provided. We were comfortable. The location is in an older neighborhood that could benefit from continued investment/revitalization.

If you like older homes, its a great place to stay. Got some great rest on the comfortable beds. It was a typical Erie winter weekend, so lots of time to hang on the sofa, binge watch, and keep warm. I'll keep this house in my list of favorites.

Let me start by saying this home is breath taking. It's comfortable for a family. I was able to keep my baby safe who just started walking. The beds are comfortable. They provide so many cozy blankets & pillows everywhere! The backyard is big & fun! We enjoyed every moment of our stay. Their kitchen is fully stocked as well. The beauty of this historic home is unmatched. It was a wonderful experience. My son loved it the upstairs is amazing .we will be back as we have family nearby & we recommend this house is to families & truly anyone can be happy here. It's truly a wonderful experience. Now the owners are very accommodating & always respond quickly they are understanding & just very personable. Thank you for a wonderful time.

The rental is one unit of a duplex in a historic home. The apartment has been nicely updated with new kitchen, central air, etc. The layout is perfect for families. It was easy to get into town and down to Millcreek for activities, and only 10 minutes from Presque Isle. The downsides are that the neighborhood isn't great, the building shows its age and could use some attention, and the outdoor space is overgrown and not really useable. Plus sides: The beds are comfortable. The master bedroom is a great size, with a separate sun room perfect for kids. The shower has terrific water pressure.

Cute historic house. Everything was provided. Only thing that bothered us is shower liner needs replaced, a good amount of mold on it.

The house was sufficiently clean so we did stay. The high use surfaces were wiped clean and we didn’t see any cobwebs as the previous visitors did. The outside of the building and the landscaping needs much improvement. Right outside the back door the area stays wet leading to swarms of mosquitoes.

We planned to stay a total of 3 nights and unfortunately due to uncleanliness and the place being unkept we left within an hour of arriving and drove back home. There was bugs and cobwebs in all corners of the house. Dirt on the stairs and paint chippings on a lot of the baseboards. My husband and i did not feel comfortable having our 15 month old walking around and or sleeping at this place. I will say the host was very nice and accommodating leading up to our stay , we had no issues there. This house was just not cleaned to our standards that made us feel okay staying there.

My friends were very disappointed in the condition of the house compared to the pictures posted on the site to rent it. The steps leading up to the house are dangerous as they are deteriorating severely. And the ramp was completely covered in weeds, unable to even be used. The furniture and table on the porches are filthy. And as you will see in the pictures porches are in desperate need of being cleaned. The grass is very high both front yard & back. No way of even enjoying what could be a beautiful backyard because the grass is so high. Upon entering the home, we found cobwebs in pretty much every corner & across door ways. I’d say the bare minimum of cleaning is what we found. And knowing there were 4 of us, there weren’t even enough towels & wash rags for 2 days with a total of 5 towels & 6 wash rags & no washing machine to even wash them so we had them to use. Yet we were told they were provided. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. We should be refunded AT LEAST half of our fee if not all for the deceitful ad.
