Note this is Menlo Park west of I-10, one of Tucson’s oldest neighborhoods. In fact it’s the original “barrio,” the banks of the Santa Cruz having been continuously inhabited for over 4,000 years. It’s a great neighborhood with a mix of historic, traditional and the up & coming. The street Casa Linda is on is quiet and friendly, filled with traditional multi-generational blue-color families and young professionals.
You`re steps way from one of the best taquerias in town (Sonoran Delights with the fabled Sonoran Hotdog, authentic tacos and dinners, Raspados and Escamoches!), as well as Pat`s Chili Dogs down Grande Ave in Barrio Hollywood, the Mercado San Augustine & MSA Annex with restaurants and stores, and with the street car a block away you`re connected to all that`s cool about Tucson. Also nearby is the Santa Cruz River Walk or `Loop` stretching from south of town all the way north (great for biking, jogging, scooter rides), bike rentals (on Bonito just north), the Garden of Gesthemene sculptures and lots more...

Tucson’s free Trolley service just a couple blocks away, connecting the nearby Mercado District with Downtown, 4th Ave., and the University area. Close access to I-10, downtown and the 210, and Silverbell on the West, make it easy to access most of Tucson, quickly.

The house was really nice and stayed a comfortable temperature in the July heat. The communication with Matt was excellent. The kitchen was well stocked. Overall, it was a very positive experience and we would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

We came from Alabama to visit our son and daughter in law. The property was all we needed. The outside was so cute. Very clean. Inside was very clean. Everything we wanted and needed. Communication was great. They checked on us frequently. Would definitely stay again. THANK YOU TARA

This was easily the nicest VRBO we've stayed at in this price range. The kitchen was very modern and well appointed with new appliances. The streetcar two blocks away gave us easy access to downtown and U of A. Matthew was a great host and quickly answered our questions and made suggestions. Walking to the top of A Mountain was 4 mi RT. The numerous authentic restaurants within walking distance was a real treat. Thank you Matthew! We loved Casa Linda!

Thanks Matt for providing a perfect cozy, landing spot for me and my fiancé in Tucson. We loved the dog door, washer, and dryer, and TV in the living room. Our stay was perfectly affordable, and exactly what we needed!

Loved our week at Casa Linda. Tidy and charming house in one of the many distinctive Tucson neighborhoods. Close to street car so within reach of lots of great stuff: the Mercado and those donuts, Antigone Books, downtown, university. Don’t miss Loft Cinema (not on street car line but worth the drive). Easy communication with host. Thanks, Matt!
