Cozy is….a stretch. I would say bare minimum. Bare minimum kitchen necessities, bare minimum bath linens and bare minimum bed linens, the pillows are about as flat as pancakes. Is it worth the money if all you’re looking for is a clean safe place to rest your head for a night or two? Absolutely but, do not at all expect any type of luxury, even electrical outlets are limited.

The linens on the beds did not seem fresh. Towels were clean. the yard could use some clean up, landscaping.

Steve's property was perfect for us - not far to walk to downtown near restaurants and the water. The property was clean and we had plenty of room for 2 people. Would stay again if in the area.

Cozy bungalow in historic Mount Dora was an easy walk to restaurants and shops. Nestled in a cute neighborhood. The folks in Mount Dora are very friendly and welcoming. We had no problems taking our service dogs into any restaurant or Shop. I highly recommend a stay at the cozy bungalow whenever your travels take you to Mount Dora.

The only suggestion I can make is the shower curtain in hall bathroom needs to be replaced, as it has mildew on it.

Clean but very dated. One of the reasons we chose this place was for the fenced backyard but the gate was broken so it wasn't suitable to let our dogs lose.

The moment we entered the property we were charmed of how cute it was. Inside so cozy and a lot of natural lighting and very clean. The place was perfect and the home displays a lot of character. The beds were super comfy and I loved that it had two full bathrooms. Best, so close to Downtown Mount Dora just a few blocks away!

What a great little spot to stay! Cozy, homey, and welcoming! We hardly had to drive anywhere, except to the next town over to a restaurant we wanted to go to. Checking in was super easy! Downtown is maybe a 10 minute walk, and you get to see so much of the whimiscal charm of Mt. Dora on the way! We (and our pups) had such a great time and cannot wait to go back! Thank you so much!

The property was beat and clean. It was nicely decorated. There were some of the aspects of the cottage that had been updated and a few areas that could use to be updated. Overall excellent stay.

It was a fine place to stay if you have activities outside the house. It seemed odd that there were exactly 4 shabby bath towels and wash cloths for 4 people, and exactly 4 rolls of toilet paper. Also, the tap water smells/tastes strongly of sulphur....be sure to bring your own drinking water.

Loved the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. We were able to walk and enjoy the Mt Dora area and did not have to use our vehicle once during our stay. The carport area was perfect for shade and a nice breeze was always present. The house was as described and beds were very comfortable. We will definitely be staying again.

Check in was easy. Loved the key pad entrance not having to share a key Could not figure out the Netfix on any of the TVS but we did not go there to watch TV so no big deal. Close to the downtown area and shopping. It was a short stay but if it was a longer stay the kitchen was not perfectIn

Nice place and 13 blocks to town. This was our second time to stay in this unit but we ate out on our first trip. Eating out has become very expensive so I dicided to cook a meal. The Kitchen wasn't set up for cooking. There are no potholders or colander for draining pasta. I would stay there again.

We had a fantastic stay in Mount Dora and this sweet little bungalow was perfect! You can definitely walk downtown if you want to, everything is so close. We loved having the backyard for the pups. They did seem interested in the chickens next door but the neighbor was very sweet and we worked out a schedule between the dogs. The inside of the house is simple and modern, and the bedrooms are decent, we had 2 kids and 2 adults. We would definitely consider renting this again. Halloween weekend was awesome, they had so much going on all over town. Thanks for a great weekend!

The Cozy Bungalow lived up to its name and the property owner was very accommodating. We were evacuating from Hurricane Milton so under a lot of stress. The helpfulness from the property owner made things just a little easier at a time when we were already dealing with a lot.

We stayed a long weekend and had everything we needed at this updated historic cottage just blocks from downtown. We used almost every amenity Steve offers including fire pit, his bikes (since you are only 100’ from the bike trail- just dust off and top off tires.). He provides shampoo, conditioner, soap, basic kitchen necessities (salt, pepper and oil) just bring your favorite coffee and groceries. The king bed was very comfy (we always travel with our own pillows) and we watched the basic TV and Netflix but went up to Jeremiah's to watch the football games. We did a load of laundry before we left and dryer did not get hot but Steve was quick to respond and kept in touch about getting it repaired. We loved the quiet neighborhood, close proximity to downtown, parks and lake. We ate most meals out. Highly recommend this property!

My best friend had her 40th birthday in beautiful Mt Dora. What a lovely little town. The house was clean and comfy. Kind size bed is very comfortable as well. We didn’t stay in the house besides to sleep, but we had everything we needed! Thank you for making our stay care free.
