From start to finish we received excellent service from our agent Angie. She met us at this gorgeous , charming, spacious old home to walk us through and explain all its properties. Whenever we had questions she quickly responded. Our group from ages 2 to 74 thoroughly enjoyed all the stunning amenities of this unique home located in a lovely old neighborhood of stately homes.

We couldn’t believe how much space we had here - from the beautiful veranda to the stunning rooms to the pool and backyard - there was so much to explore and enjoy. The kids loved the “secret” Jefferson doors, all of the toys provided, the playground and the real player piano. Everyone loved the pool and large gathering spaces. The host and property manager were very helpful and welcoming. We took walks to see the nearby stables and local coffee shop. It is obvious that the owners put a lot of thought & work into restoring this incredible house and we are grateful they shared it with us. Wonderful stay!

We stayed here while in town for a wedding. We had 13 adults and one child. This is such a neat old house with so many cool features. We had a fun time exploring the house and admiring the unique features like the Jefferson doors to the porches, the old coal dump, and all the super cool antiques in the home. All of the bedrooms have a sink in them which was really awesome and helpful for when we were all getting ready at the same time. Our only feedback is that the pillows were a little hard and we were caught off guard by the sudden drop in temps at night so were a little chilly with the summer weight blankets provided. There are 4 bathrooms with showers and one 1/2 bath which was really convenient for our group size. The kitchen has a lot of wonderful features including two dishwashers, a soda stream, an ice maker, etc. There is an enormous dining table in the formal dining room and one in the informal dining area off the kitchen which was really great for hosting a post wedding dinner. We just did takeout but were impressed and are now considering the possibilities for future trips including thanksgiving as this would be an ideal location to host a large family dinner/gathering! The games provided and the pool and ping pong tables as well as all the kids toys meant there was a ton to do. Communication before during and after was top notch. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and hope to do so again in the future!

From before our stay started, the hosts were very communicative and response. Once arriving at the property, we pleasantly found it stocked with small (but big things) like individually sized cereal boxes, eggs, and milk that was perfect for our group that had 8 kids, ages 1-9. The pool depth was also a nice surprise, going from 2 ft to 5 ft. It was just the right fit for our mix of kids.Beautiful and charming property, a bit on the older side, but very well maintained and updated. The kitchen was our group's hangout area. Overall there was a large amount of space and rooms to spread out, but not too closed off to feel far away.Would definitely come back if we return to the area.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this house that can only be described as a hidden gem for family gatherings. From the moment we stepped foot through the large front door, we were captivated by the charm and character that radiated throughout the entire property. One of the first things that caught our attention was the enchanting doorbell, which added a touch of nostalgia to our experience. It was as if we had stepped back in time, immersing ourselves in the rich history of the house. The wrap-around porch was an absolute delight, providing ample seating and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. It served as the perfect gathering spot for our family, allowing us to reconnect and create lasting memories. Whether we were enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning or sharing stories under the starry night sky, the porch became our sanctuary of relaxation and laughter. The highlight of our stay was undeniably the pool. The crystal-clear water beckoned us on hot days, offering a refreshing escape from the heat. We spent countless hours swimming, playing games, and simply basking in the joy of each other's company. It provided the ideal backdrop for family bonding and recreational fun. What truly set this house apart from any other accommodation was the thoughtfulness and attention to detail. The stocked fridge, filled with a variety of beverages and breakfast essentials, made us feel so welcomed.
