Perfect location! Clean house, great communication from the house manager, street parking could be tough if it is busy, but we didn’t have any issues. Had the best girls weekend and enjoyed spending time at the house!

The host was very quick to respond to us regarding check in. It was a sisters' weekend; the house is so quaint and charming. We loved everything about it. We liked the fact that we could walk to everything as parking on a busy weekend is a little tuff.

Clean, Quiet, Close, and Comfortable are the best words to describe the house. We had a lovely time!!

Would be nice if bath soap/shampoo/conditioner were provided. Put a label on the mirror in the bathroom that the towels are stored in. They were hard to find.

Awesome place so close to everything would stay again

The home was exactly as promised. We were there during a busy holiday weekend and as noted on the description of the property, parking was a small challenge. But being so close to the downtown area, many restaurants, shops and such, there wasn't a need to travel by car unless you wanted to.Would stay here again!

We loved our stay on Bench Street. Walkable to everything! We played games around the awesome dining room table and listened to music on the turntable. Big fun! The house was spotless. The beds were comfy. We didn't feel that anything was missing from the rental. Highly recommend.

Sister trip! The home was big, very clean & a perfect location for 1 block walking to Main Street Galena. It was nice that it was ready upon arrival & we were able to check in. It is an older home refurbished like most in Galena. The pictures paint this home inside & out. We loved the old Victrola record player & albums. This home is nicely decorated, however the recliners were a bit hard for us ladies to close & 2 out of the 3 mattresses were comfortable. We appreciated all the amenities provided even the water. Easy access & checkout. Reasonable priced & excellent service. We would stay here again.

The house was great place to stay. We visited Galena for our annual wine fest event, and it was a great place for us and our friends and family to stay. It was very clean and very well organized, and everything was just as it was described in the listing. The record player was a big hit. It was also a very peaceful and quiet location. We had the best time. We went for the holiday parade on Thanksgiving weekend. The house was as shown and very comfortable and homey. Management was fantastic to work with and very responsive. The home was very clean and ready for us to arrive. The location can't be beat as its just up the stairs from Main Street. We were back and forth many times. Loved it.

The home is lovely, quiet and comfortable. It is a great location if you are looking to shop, eat and enjoy Galena's Main Street. We walked from the house all weekend and didn't have to worry about parking on Main. Street parking at the house was first come first served, but we had no issues. We would definitely stay here again.

Location is on Bench street, one block up from the main street with restaurants and shopping! The house overall was super clean, decorated cute, had all the amenities we needed for a weekend. The three bedrooms were nice sizes for our family of 4 (with teens). Would highly recommend, and would for sure stay there again.

Basically right in the middle, so we went out and shopped one half of Main Street, took a break at the house, then shopped/dined on the other half of Main Street. Ideal! Finding street parking near the house was simple. The screened in porch would be nice to use, but our evenings were too hot to enjoy it. Heads up, one of the beds in the upstairs bedrooms is a Full (smaller size) - not a Queen. That was the only disappointment but we adjusted.
