Stayed Jan 14, 2024This property is a charming 1920s house in an historic neighborhood that is close to the University of Arizona campus, historic 4th Avenue, and downtown. The inside of the house would be a delight for anglophiles or anyone interested in British colonialism as it is filled with art and artifacts from that period.

Stayed Nov 28, 2025This home is the full VRBO package—cozy, well-appointed, great location and a responsive host. My friend and I really enjoyed basing our Tuscon vacation here. Though it has three bedrooms, there were only two of us, and it was as if we each had an ensuite bedroom at opposite sides of the house for maximum privacy. It was a little too chilly to make use of the outdoor spaces, but they are lovely, and I can imagine great dinners, cooking and eating outside. We also enjoyed the many African- and Indian-influenced decor items from either trvels or living abroad. Thank you, Brie!

Stayed Oct 12, 2025The road construction should have been mentioned. We informed Host of needed repairs. Lack of hot water in kitchen and one bath was a bummer, but thankfully it was only 2 of us, so we shared the other shower. Older home so some things can be overlooked, very cool historic structure but the decor would be offputting for some. If you are into the colonization of the world, you’ll feel right at home. Central location, close to everything.

Stayed Mar 12, 2025This was a comfortable home and good walkable location to U of A campus and trolley to downtown. Unique and interesting British influenced decor. Nice back yard patio area. Host was responsive. Sam Hughes is an area of nice historic homes. This one is on a very busy street, so be aware there will be a lot of traffic noise - especially the bedroom at the front of the house.

Stayed Dec 24, 2024We so appreciate working with Bree at the last minute since our original property was cancelled just hours before check-in (on Christmas Eve!) They were so accommodating! The property is very unique and has a lot of charm to it. I'm glad our children are older so that we didn't have to worry about them touching the antiques and history artifacts. We had everything we needed for our stay.

Stayed Dec 15, 2024Great location for Tucson and UofA. Cool place with plenty of space inside and out. Decor is unique and gave us lots to look at. Only issue is limited parking and the parking that is available is tight.

Stayed Aug 19, 2024We loved our stay. The home was cute and close to campus. We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy all of the spaces inside and outside of the house! The kitchen was well appointed with everything you might need. We cooked meals a few times and the beds were very comfortable!
