Ogden, Utah
This three level townhome, located in the heart of Ogden's historic district, is fully furnished in a Townhome complex with a one car enclosed garage under the unit (note: this garage is small but will accommodate a mid-sized SUV). It's within walking distance to restaurants, night life, shopping, theaters, commuter train and bus service. With two queen size beds, a pair of twin beds and a day bed (in the loft), this condo can easily accommodate seven adults. This unit has two televisions and wireless Internet service. Having recently updated this property (new carpet and paint), I have refreshed the amenities, linens, dishes, etc. to accommodate your needs.
World class ski resorts, Snow Basin and Powder Mountain, are within a 30 min. drive (resort bus service for a nominal fee is within a 5 min. walk) and the nearby Pineview Reservoir offers lots of water sport fun...boating, water skiing, kayaking, fishing, etc.
A beautiful bike trail, which runs along the Ogden river, is just minutes away and mountain biking and hiking can be found on the benches of Ogden as well as the picturesque Ogden Valley.
We enjoyed the stay. Great location near 25th and great host
Loved the space and location!
Had a great visit to Ogden and this property was a great home base right on 25th St. Would definitely stay here again.
I would give this listing a 5 for: location (in the heart of the historic district with a fabulous yoga studio, Higher Ground-just 30 seconds away, and restaurants-Tona-great sushi-just 2 blocks away); easy 30 minute drive to Snowbasin; attached 1 car garage ( can accommodate a RAv 4 size vehicle, but nothing bigger-if you have a 2nd car, you need to park on the surrounding street, outside the townhome complex, which we were fully aware of in advance); owner’s quick responses; well stocked with towels, linens detergent etc.; and comfortable queen beds ( but some linens , pillows, dish cloths are very “ tired”). But the listing gets a 3 for the townhome: the tiny main floor with kitchen and living area is COLD ( there is a portable heater, but we turned it off when we were out of the townhome so it would take awhile for things to warm up during our 6 weeks in January and February-and even then the main floor never really warmed up); hot water tank makes loud, clicking noises ( as does “ heating “ system); microwave not powerful, but anything stronger would probably trip the system as we found out with other scenarios; uncomfortable main floor seating; temperamental pedestrian exit gate open/close system; and we could hear the residents of the next door townhome just talking. Basically the townhome needs updating and some attention to reflect price charged
Came with my family for an event. It was close to everything we needed. It was a great clean place to stay.
We really enjoyed the location - very convenient to restaurants in downtown Ogden. We booked this for the Ogden marathon. Would highly recommend this location if you are visiting for the marathon, hiking or any of many activities in the nearby mountains. Host was excellent - very responsive.
Super convenient location. We skied all day and then came home, cleaned up, and walked to a new restaurant every night for dinner. The place was simple, but clean and comfortable. The upstairs loft made for a nice separate tv watching area. There are 2 twin mattresses up there as well... one is super comfy, the other felt more like a sofa pull-out. Lucky for us, we only needed the 1 for my son so it worked out perfect. We packed light and did laundry most nights, the host had plenty of Tide pods available for our laundry. The kitchen has all the cook/dinnerware you need and plenty of room in the fridge. If we go back to Ogden, we'll be staying here again!!
Great house, great location, great host! The house was perfect for our amazing ski trips to Park city and Snowbasin.
Great locations just steps away from 25th street restaurants, we were able to walk everywhere.
I stayed here for a couple of months while searching for a permanent place, and I thought it was the perfect place to get to know Ogden. It is walking distance to lots of events, restaurants, the weekend farmer's market, and even the car registration building. The neighbors I met were nice and friendly. The home itself has a lot of room. The kitchen is small, but surprisingly well stocked. I think the only thing I missed having was a Blu-Ray player. Patsy was great, and always quick to respond to any of my questions - no matter what time of day. I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys being near city events.
