Lots of room for our family of four. Enjoyed being in Seattle coding our daughter. Great location to campus and other sites in Seattle.
This updated craftsman in the quaint Queen Anne neighborhood was the ideal home base for our group's Seattle visit. Street and driveway parking were a bonus, but we enjoyed walking a few blocks to coffee, shops and restaurants. We were a short drive or Uber to many of Seattle's top tourist sites, though away from the bustle and grunge of the city. (Note: early November was a great time to visit -- no lines for anything and hardly any rain.) Becky (host) was very accommodating and the house was well-equipped for visitors. (Though we did come close to running out of TP! 5 days x 6 women) Lower level beds and lounge would be great for kids, but it would be nice if the plastic mattress covers on the twin beds could be removed for adult stays b/c they crinkled throughout the night. Otherwise the mattresses and bedding were very comfortable. Overall a great stay!
Hilltop House was perfect for our family of six. The basement worked fantastic for the two kids to have their own space to sleep and hang out (tv and couch). We loved being located close to downtown Seattle, but yet walking distance to neighborhood restaurants and shops. The house had ample space to relax and a well stocked kitchen to cook. Would stay there again and again and again!
Hilltop House was everything described in the listing-the perfect place from which to base our Seattle vacation. We had six adults, so the bedroom/bathroom number was perfect and we were so comfortable. Becky is a great host, being so responsive to questions and to an issue we had with the TV. She provided lots of info about the house and the area. We loved being in Queen Anne where we could see downtown and walk to breakfast, donuts and a pharmacy. We highly recommend this property if you’re looking for a base in Seattle.
Wasn’t the cleanest place. When the owner says they are trying to save on cleaning costs, they mean it. You could tell things like the floor hadn’t been cleaned in a while. All of our white socks quickly turned dark on the bottom. Bring your own paper towels. They provided one roll for our five day stay and when asked where more could be found I was told one roll is provided “which is more than enough for the 3-4 days”, even though we were there for five. Weird interaction over a roll of paper towel. Not a bad place, but not great. If you got a large group I would avoid due to lack of amenities or just prepare you’ll be stocking your own kitchen supplies.
We had a great time at this property! Beautifully kept and a lot of attention to detail.
The house is nice, lovely neighborhood, walkable. Close proximity to book store, coffee shops, Trader Joes and lower Queen Anne and downtown. Comfortable beds. It served our needs well. The house cleaner must have been in a rush because they missed a lot of what I would expect would be clean. Especially for the nightly cost and the fact that I'm paying for it to be clean. It was clean enough.
The property was just as expected. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to some coffee shops and marts. Easy access to downtown Seattle and northern areas. The craftsman style house had some cute character and the owner made it easy to use.
Beautiful location and house. Had everything we needed. Would stay again.
Beautiful house in a beautiful neighborhood! It was a great property!
Awesome house in a great location. Would absolutely book again.
We truly enjoyed are stay! The home is beautiful, comfortable, and charming!!
This house is beautiful. Super spacious and I’m downtown Seattle. I will be requesting this house again for my next visit.
This house had everything we wanted- Queen Anne historical charm, plenty of room for our group of 6, easy access to restaurants and the bus stop to downtown and a dedicated parking spot. The host was awesome and very responsive. She even has notes and a booklet in the house on how-tos and restaurant suggestions in the area. We used the grill one night for burgers, ordered pizza nearby, went for ice cream a few blocks away another night. Everything is so accessible from this spot- bus lines 2 & 13 have a stop just down some steps and down a block or so on QA north. They’ll take you to within walking distance of the Space Needle, Pike Place markets, the main library, etc. Overall, a great stay and 10/10 would recommend!
Great place in a great area. I have no complaints.
This house was perfect for the six of us. We had a great time visiting Seattle, our first time here. The house was convenient to restaurants and an easy Uber ride to things we wanted to see. After a fun day of sightseeing, we had enjoyable evenings sitting in the living room talking, watching a movie or a game, and restfully planning our next day's adventures. Plenty of beds for all of us.
Wonderful walkable neighborhood and well managed home. Lots of directions everywhere and very tidy. Appreciate all the lovely photos and slept very well during my stay . Loved the lower studio and could watch tv late when others were asleep without being rude.
Charming house in a great location!
While it looked great in the photos, this large, tastefully and thoughtfully furnished home eventually exceeded our expectations. I rented this house for our family of 7 adults. We were in Seattle for a wedding. The bedrooms were comfortable with an abundance of closet space, drawers and hangers which we appreciated because we were traveling with party clothing that needs more space. The very well equipped kitchen and living areas were large and nicely decorated. Great for hanging out. Nice photos of interesting places Nice bathrooms, towels , etc. Off street parking for two cars a great plus.
Great location for everything, playground close, could walk by fire station (big hit with the 2 year old) and walking distance (~1 mile) to Space Needle-Pikes Market area. Only problem was parking, we picked up new car and ended up with 3 cars. But found street space within a few blocks. Stairs downstairs are quite steep but 2 yo scootched down to the 'reading room' successfully. Even UberEATS delivery was easy.
This was a perfect location and home for our Daughter's wedding. The host was very communicative and the home was great.
This property is in a great location. Clean, quiet, older neighborhood.
