Stayed May 23, 2024We had 10 people in our extended family (6 adults and 4 kids) get together here for a long holiday weekend. This place was perfect for that! The bunk room for the kids, the two bedrooms down stairs for their parents and the upstairs suite for us (grandparents) was a perfect fit! The gathering spaces were great as well. Upstairs sitting room, looking out at the lake, as well as the dining and family room spaces downstairs. Huge deck! The seating in the family room was very nice and the entertainment electronics were awesome (I know this is a lake getaway, but with the Stars and the Mavs in the playoffs, this became important). The kitchen was great, given that we cooked all meals here. The linens and towels were all premium. The mattresses were fantastic, I have not slept that well in a long time. One last thing, with spring time weather in Texas, with the constant threat of hail, it was nice that we had all three of our cars under the protection of the deck. This was a huge weight off our minds (given that all our cars were pretty news). We’ll be back again in the future!
