Stayed Nov 22, 2025To summarize, our stay was not a great experience overall. Starting with the positive, the host was very responsive, apologetic, and genuinely worked hard to make things right, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the condition of the home itself made for a disappointing stay.The house felt tired and neglected. The king bed frame was broken and the mattress sagged noticeably. The couch frame under the lounge section was also broken. The room advertised as having a queen bed actually had a full-size mattress placed on a queen box spring, and it squeaked loudly with even the slightest movement.The listing states the home “sleeps 10,” but realistically it sleeps 8—unless you plan to put additional people on small twin mattresses or squeeze two people onto the small couch. We had a party of nine, and one child ultimately had to sleep on the floor.The kitchen was poorly stocked, and several pots and pans were dirty or in unusable condition. There were about a dozen other things around the house that were broken and I found myself having to fix things to keep them functioning. There was also a strong odor in the home that never fully went away.Overall, while the host was excellent, the house itself needs significant attention and updates before it can provide the comfortable stay that guests expect.
