Nice large house with al the necessities
Absolutely loved the proximity to downtown and the wedding we attended at Freight — super walkable. The house was very clean and it was very easy to come and go. Check-in was easy too. I’d really like to give 4.5 star rating. The only negatives were small and a little more attention to the property management would solve most. The batteries were dead in the Roku remote and one shower’s conditioner bottle was empty. I’m confident that I could have messaged about this during our stay and it would’ve been fixed. It just wasn’t that big of a deal. The downstairs queen bed sinks toward the middle and was comfortable; fortunately we were able to switch to the one upstairs which was awesome. There were more beds in the house than I remember being advertised. (Not a bad thing.) All in all, it was a very good stay. If we ever go back to Leadville, we would look into rebooking.
This was the perfect spot for our time in Leadville! I was in town to run the Leadville 100 and the location was ideal, just a few blocks from the starting line and easy access for my friends to come and go throughout the race as they moved to different locations to crew and support me. The layout of the house was great and fit our group perfectly. Next time we get to stay in Leadville, this house will be our first choice of accommodations!
I don't believe in grade inflation, so my mid-range scores should not be interpreted as negative. This is not a luxury rental house - it was perfect for a group of six guys who came to raft, hike, and enjoy Leadville. I would have liked to check in early, but the property manager[?] said it would cost us $50.00. That might be my only complaint. Good rental, fair price.
we stayed here for 2 days and the location was perfect in walking distance to downtown. the house itself gave the feeling of an old vintage home. there was more sleeping space than i expected with a queen bedroom and a bunk bed room downstairs and then a king bed futon and another queen bedroom upstairs. beds were comfortable and everything was clean. washer and dryer worked fine . the decor was a mix of vintage and 80's . they had several tv's but we could only get the family room and downstairs bedroom to work which was fine. there was a small backyard fenced and my only complaint would be it really needed to be mowed. the kitchen was well stocked with a new refridgerator and an ice maker which was great. we really loved this little town . great museums and resturants to walk to . thank you
This place is fully stocked with everything you need.. Toiletries, towels, etc .. This property is literally a few minutes walk from downtown Leadville.. Very close to Vail, and Breckenridge.. This property is very cozy.. Washer, and Dryer works perfectly, There's a brand new refrigerator. The oven works perfect.. We had four adults in our group and one baby and we all slept very comfortably... The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful.. Five stars and two big Texas thumbs up...
We were looking for a place close to family that lives in Leadville. The place is older, kind of eclectic, warm place to stay. Everything was very clean and it had what we needed. . We cooked together and played games, walked downtown and played in the snow. We really enjoyed our stay!
Fun and funky place to stay for a couple of nights. The kids loved the video games, boxed table games, abundance of curious books, and historic feel of the house. It is a family-friendly space as advertised. As a pleasant surprise, different than what is shown in the preview images, there is better furniture in the living room, and a booth-style dining area. The bedrooms are not conventional, but it worked fine for our family with plenty of beds from which to choose with five people. It was warm (heaters available in every room) and comfortable. It served our needs for a short get away to the mountains / small town. We appreciated the enclosed porch with benches for removing snow gear. It had sleds and boot driers available to borrow, too! Checking in/out was easy. Cleanliness as ok (not great but not terrible, either) since there was mildew in the shower and a few mystery spots on the wall we didn't notice until later, but it was otherwise tidy and ready for our visit. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the accommodations with use of a full house and kitchen while away from home, and how it is set up with plenty of entertainment for the times between outings during the visit.
Had a great time watching ski Joring! Very short walk into town and close to good food.
Great location. Quirky house with plenty of room. Great area for the dogs. Comfortable with all we needed. Getting pricey though.
Great location for winter ski trip with the family. Near ski copper , and Copper Mountain. Scenic mountain town, as advertised. We enjoyed the trip
Nice area to enjoy both Alpine and Nordic skiing. House was comfortable.
Leadville is quirky, but in a charming way. This house is kind of the same: old, quirky, yet charming. Everything was clean, along with plenty of towels, linens, pillows, and even the kitchen was stocked with anything you might need. I really liked how the back yard was fully enclosed for dogs. I would definitely choose this place again!
