Location was where I wanted but the house was a little less than I had hoped it would be. I have communicated my concerns with the owner directly.
Great communication. Nice home. Great hospitality.
This property is nice, clean and quiet. There are a few areas where some maintenance work needs to be done, however it’s nothing that affects function or health and safety. If you’re not expecting perfection, but you are expecting a beautifully quiet place that truly feels like solitude, where you can still see lightning bugs and stars in abundance… this is the place. My only complaints aren’t worth the time to type them. My praises however are. Regina was kind, thoughtful and prompt in correspondence. The house is in its own little hollow basically with Shade trees and cut grass. Central air….. yeah…. Sweet central air…. And if there’s a chill in the air, with the flick of a switch, the gas stove will have you feeling warm in a jiffy instead. Circle drive so getting in and out is simple. That front porch was wonderful for my porch swing Angel and I to just sit and well…. breathe…. Ahhhh. It was so quiet that my tinnitus was the only thing louder than the small sounds of nature. Big LG washer and dryer if the need for one arises and plenty of towels and nice linens as well. Truly a wonderfully peaceful place. If ever we find ourselves in the area again… we will certainly hope to stay here.
Outside is on the questionable side but still pretty good, as soon as you walk in the place looks amazing. Nothing was wrong with this location, would come here again
A nice little cabin out in the mountains, very quiet, very homey, and clean. Only downside is a small one and it depends who you are but it is a good little distance away from everything. Host is very responsive and punctual. Overall would recommend.
The property is in a rural setting and a perfect place for relaxing
I came with my family for my mother-in-law's 90th birthday celebration in nearby Crawford. This property was perfect and the area was very quaint with a Mennonite presence. We were able to stop in at the Country Porch sandwich shop but weren't able to visit the other shops as our time was limited. The area is country but the property was easy to find; even in the rain and dark! Regina was very responsive and answered all my questions quickly. The house is well furnished but we didn't do any real cooking our use the outside amenties. I don't know if we would have reason to return but I would recommend the property for anyone wanting a laid back, relaxing spring or summer vacation.
