We had an amazing long weekend here with our family. Location is great and close to the Biltmore and other fun things. We also lucked up and stayed during one of Asheville’s biggest snow weekends in a few years. It was gorgeous. The hosts were great and checked on us several times during the winter weather. The house is well stocked and all of the beds were super comfortable. We had a really great time and will stay here again if we head back this way.
Place overall all was nice and all clean, except 2 of the 3 bedrooms sheets were dirty. Owners were great as far as any questions you have, check in was easy. Driveway was extremely steep (which they stated)it was hard to get in and out of truck, also hard to load and unload our things. Location was exactly as they said within 10 mins to everything.
We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The house was immaculate and fully equipped. Although the listing said 4 bedrooms, there were only 3 rooms, but we had plenty of sleeping space. The rooms were spacious with large walk-in closets. The kitchen was our favorite. It had everything we needed to cook and eat! The driveway is definitely a challenge and steep. If you park on the left side it is easier. I would suggest driving an SUV or awd vehicle and backing in to get up the driveway. This would definitely be an issue for those that are elderly or not as mobile. Another note was there were no blinds or curtains on the front/back door, kitchen window, and eating area. Although we loved the view, it was a little unsettling to have the windows exposed in so many places. The hosts were very responsive and communicated well. Overall this was a good place for our sister’s getaway and we enjoyed our stay.
This lovey newer home was everything promised. We had easy access to trails, attractions, food and Asheville downtown night life. I would highly recommend this property to my friends or stay again. The beds and furniture were comfortable and it had all the amenities of home. The hosts were responsive and check in and out was easy.
This place is in the perfect spot! 10 minutes from Biltmore, 20 to the grove inn, grove arcade, or the arboretum. 10 to downtown. Great value, beds were comfy, and the kitchen was great for the weekend. Not really anywhere but the bathrooms to get ready, the mirrors are all really tall, so it's hard if you have a lot of girls doing makeup. I think the biggest downside was the slope of the driveway. There's absolutely no way to street park, and even with a big, tall suv we scraped so bad. You had to back into the other house's drive way to get in at a straight angle so that your front doesn't just hit the asphalt, we figured out. I dont think you could have done it as a car. The side not going into the garage on the left was left steep. The stairs to the bedrooms are very steep also, so if anyone has mobility issues, that could be an issue. The house was very clean, we had fresh sheets. There were roaches on the ground floor at night so make sure not to leave any food things without sealing well. It was just a few, and they died so obviously being treated already. Neighborhood was quiet and i loved that we backed to the woods, very peaceful. I will absolutely stay here if I do another ashville trip.
The home itself is quite nice, very well decorated, with all of the comforts one might need. It is very plain in the listing, the steep and short driveway (unfortunately very difficult to manage) especially if you are on the senior end of the spectrum. Also, in that same thought the stairs in the home. Otherwise, great!
We were in Asheville celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday with another couple. The property was clean, easy to enter and just as pictured. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bathrooms had all the necessary towels and toiletries included. We had no trouble getting Lyfts or Ubers to take us downtown and the drive was less than 10 minutes!
This place was great and in very close proximity to downtown restaurants and brewery’s.
Great location and property. The beds were very comfortable and the place was very clean. The only negative I can say about the property is that the driveway is very steep and we felt we were going to crack our rental car skid plate every time we parked
It was very nice to be able to visit my daughter. Since Covid this has been only the second time we have traveled. This allowed us to visit without too much exposure. The bedrooms were nice size and comfortable. The house was in a nice location for getting to downtown quickly. Of course the driveway was hard to get use to but once we figured out the best way to get in and out it worked. Thankfully this was in the description so we knew about it before getting there.
