Stayed Mar 15, 2025From the first moment I walked in all you could smell was fog urine. The owner was very responsive the first time I communicated. They sent an “inspector” out with a spray that lasted several hours. Then the smell came back. We eventually discovered the couches were filled with urine, fur, and dander. The landlord. Never followed up to see if we were ok.If you let your dogs piss on the furniture this place is for you.

Stayed May 16, 2024The owners have beautifully decorated this home. They have provided everything you need to cook in or out on the grill. There were pool/beach toys and 2 wagons. We didn't use any of those but if you had small children these would be awesome to have

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Herons Crossing was a perfect setup for our family. The condo was so spacious, clean and ready for our arrival. A three generation family spring break was made possible by this well appointed condo. With a bedroom and bath for each adult couple and a bunk room and bath for the grandchildren, it simply could not have been better. The well equipped kitchen had all of the pots and pans, cooking utensils, silverware, dish and glassware needed for a large family gathering. We took advantage of the beach and beach club, the swimming pool, and the Lost Key golf course. (a beautiful and challenging course). From the entrance gate keepers, to the shuttle drivers, to the staff at the beach, to the staff on the golf course, we found all to be so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They genuinely seemed to enjoy working at the resort and wanted to make it a great experience for you. Though it was spring break, the resort was very chill. The resources we needed: grocery, fish market, pharmacy, and close proximity to the National Seashore and Johnson beach could not have been better. The resort provides a shuttle service to and from the beach clubhouse. This made it so easy to move everybody over to the beach and not have to hassle with parking. The location of Herons Crossing also meant that the beach club and the swimming pool were within easy walking distance. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch off of the living room. It was a great place to hang out and have great family conversations or quiet morning coffee.

Stayed Jul 26, 2023The check in process was not “seamless”; We had the wrong code and had to call the “toll free” number which was someone who was not onsite nor did not understand our questions. Not to mention it was 90+ degrees with kids and a dog. The property was dirty and had been “half cleaned”. Popcorn, food, trash as well as dirty linen and towels were left behind. Plus the freezer was not getting cold and the ice maker was not working so we had to purchase bags of ice. The bunk bed slacks were broken and my 14 year fell through the bed. Called maintenance and they finally showed up but showed up at 4:30 the next day which was a total inconvenience, then they (maintenance) called the night before we left!!! I would not recommend this property AT ALL!!!! We had to clean before we even unpacked! No response from management, not happy….

Stayed Jun 1, 2023We decided to venture out of orange beach and check out Perdido key. This rental is cute, quiet, convenient and the shuttle services was so nice to have and truly does run throughout the day with minimum wait. Beds were so comfortable, rental is stocked with kitchen essentials and more which makes cooking in so much easier when you want to avoid long waits at restaurants. The beaches in this area are clean and water is beautiful and the natural habitats for marine life are all around and well protected perfecting for your observation and admiration. Overall we enjoyed our stay and experience here.
