Loved the location and beauty of this amazing home. Three families plus granddaughter had wonderful space, views, recreational equipment. The kitchen was completely outfitted which was great as the local restaurants were swamped. Lovely, lovely stay!

It is located in Princeville which is about an hour away from the airport and most of the activities are closer to the airport. But, their location is much better if you want a more peaceful vacation. The house has beautiful views and located in a nice residential neighborhood.

Beautiful home with fabulous views. Great location. Excellent communication with the host. Home was very well stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and snorkel gear. We were a group of 8 ranging from teens to 80 years old and everyone loved it.

A beautiful view of the ocean. It was nice to come home to an air conditioned home after a busy day exploring Kauai. Everything was there that we needed and in working order. Family of 5 with all of the kids having their own bedroom was great!

Whale watching from the deck was fantastic! The house accommodated our family of six nicely. The location was peaceful and beautiful.

Totally enjoyed ourselves! So much so that we didn’t want to leave. Didn’t want for anything as far as house. Loved our stay and our accommodations!!

Great house for our family vacation. Plenty of room, with a well-stocked kitchen and one of the best selections of beach gear we have seen in a rental.

Great space for time with friends and family. We loved the big common area, well appointed kitchen, garage full of amenities, and comfortable beds. Oh and of course the exceptional view! This was a wonderful location for taking in the north side of Kauai. And comfortable for evenings at home after busy days out and about.

Beautiful home with 4 large bedrooms so no crowding when the whole family comes! Kitchen was FULLY stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beach gear was overflowing with options, many chairs, 2 canopies, 6 bikes and helmets, boogie boards, games and puzzles in case of a rainy day inside.Only drawback was internet was a little slow, but who goes to paradise to play on the internet?

We had 8 guests as our family stayed, and the property was just perfect. We had two rentalCars that fit easily in the driveway without using the garage- which was nice because the garage was fully stocked with all our day trip needs. Snorkeling gear, boogie boards, camp chairs and even a cooler gave us so many options. Windows along the back of the house over look the side of the gorgeous bay of Sealodge beach. There were helpful maps and guide books around and even binoculars to keep your eye out for anything interesting in the ocean.Beds were all comfortable and we were so glad to find a house to accommodate 4 couples. We had to reach out to the owner and he replied nicely, even stopping by on our last day to make sure we had all our questions answered. It was a lovely stay.

This home has a fantastic location and beautiful views. It’s stocked with everything you could want for a day at the beach - chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, boogie boards and bicycles. It was the perfect launch point for all of our activities and such a comfortable place to return to each night to enjoy the stunning scenery.

This house was great for our family vacation! The house has everything we needed and more! Great view and close to shops in Princeville. Kitchen is very well equipped and lots of beach gear the owner allows you to use. Overall a wonderful time!

Location and view was great. Lovely to wake up to each morning. Nice neighborhood too. We had quite a bit of rain when we were there so couldn’t take advantage of the patio as often since it was not covered. Can’t control that but I would look for a place with a covered patio next time. FYI there is a very persistent rooster in the yard somewhere so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. No complaints but just a warning!Was overall impressed with the quality of the kitchen gear. We’ve stayed at several places and this had some of the better supplies than we’ve seen…perfect, no, but I was happy with it since we cooked every day.Beach gear was great to have! Chairs, towels, snorkel, cooler, etc. Nice to not need to rent stuff!Beds were pretty comfortable but weird thing was there was no top sheet on the bed. There was one in the closet that we put on ourselves but I’d say this was kinda strange as I know most places don’t wash comforters every time…maybe they do there but regardless a top sheet should be standard.Also strange the lack of wash clothes. One bathroom had some but others did not and there also wasn’t anything to use in the kitchen so I ended up using a towel as a wash cloth.FYI does not come with basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner). Not a big deal but stood out compared to others we’ve stayed at.I will probably look for a different place to stay on our next visit but wouldn’t be opposed to it either. Just be aware of the couple things I mentioned.

Lots of room to spread out for our two families. Wonderful views. We brought our own snorkel gear but were excited to have extra gear. We also used the boogie boards and beach chairs every day. The bikes were a bit meh - hard to pedal. Bring your own bath soap and shampoo/conditioner. All in all a relaxing stay and we would return.

We came for a week of fun and bonding with family and friends. Spent most of our time on the lanai watching whales and rainbows. Loved our time at the house and will be back!

Fabulous location! Beautiful views from the house. Great set up for 8 adults/ plenty of space, bedrooms and bathrooms. Had a wonderful time- would stay again.

The house was exactly as described and everything was perfect. It is in a great location, was very clean, had a garage full of bikes and beach equipment and the view out the back is mesmerizing. We had a great stay and Thames was very helpful.

This house was amazing and perfect for the amount of people we had with us. It was a wonderful place to stay for Christmas. It had just about everything we needed. If you have little toddlers (we had our 19 month old) then you might want to bring utensils. We couldn’t find any, but that was not a big deal. Chickens in the yard behind was fun too! Overall the property was pretty clean but could have probably gone for a serious deep clean of everything.

The property/house was perfect! Everything you need for your stay is on the property/house. If we ever have a larger group traveling with us again this property would be my first choice. Thank you so much for making our vacation a special one it was top notch!

Our family had a wonderful vacation in Princeville and Hanalei while staying at Home of the opening flower. The property sits at the end of a culdesac and backs up to open space with direct views of the ocean. We spent many evenings sitting on the deck watching the sunset and then gazing at the stars. My wife would wake up early and sit on the deck drinking her coffee, reading her book and listening to the birds. It was so quiet and peaceful and private. The house itself was comfortable with large, spacious rooms. The kitchen had everything needed to cook our meals and the grill was an added bonus. There were plenty of beach accessories and we spent every day at the beach either at Anini, Hanalei or Ke'e. Communication with the owner/property manager was direct and straight forward and we had no issues during our stay. We will definitely be back!

Long-time fan of Princeville and found this awesome home! We loved this home and the ability to spread out or hang out together in the living room. We would surely return!
