Heavenly Grove | Fire Pit & Pool Table! Walk to Lake!

The house is as described and very clean. I appreciated the three lounge/communal areas, it was great for a multigenerational group. The kitchen had every utensil, serving, and cooking tool we could possibly need.That being said, basics were extremely minimal. You only get 1 bath towel & 1 washcloth per person and one hand towel per bathroom. Pump soaps were refilled with water. ONly 2 trash bags for the kitchen, 1/2 roll of paper towel, 2 dishwasher tablets, & a tiny bottle of dish soap just enough to get through the first night. One bathroom didn't have toilet paper, the others had already-started rolls and no extra. No laundry detergent nor cleaning supplies. There is a water machine, but no water; jugs are provided to have you refill at Walmart for 3. Real fireplace, but no wood (again, hit up Walmart). We stayed over New Years and it snowed. It was great they provided salt and a shovel! I thought that was a really great touch.There is a pool table and foosball, but there was no ball for foosball. A cabinet full of games, a bookcase with an interesting mix of books, a TV in most every room though the living room one was older and would occasionally turn to static and have to turn off and back on. Bring supplies, and it will be a great stay.

Family of 12: ages 8-75. Wonderful week late May 2024. Plenty of space, beautiful view from porches. Kids and young adults enjoyed kayaking and fishing from the dock, lovely fire pit and game room with pool table and fun retro arcade game. The house is beautiful, but could use some TLC. Weather was very warm and we wanted to enjoy the amazing breeze but both screen doors leading to the porch came off track every time we tried to open them and the screens were ripped and let in the bugs. Several windows didn't have screens at all. It does seem like they're in the process of updating the house, new floors in living area and windows are being replaced. With a few improvements it will be amazing! In the meantime, bring fans if you're visiting in summer because upstairs gets very warm. Also, they're not kidding when they say nothing is provided: bring your own dish towels, dish detergent, pot holders, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap for bathrooms. Good thing dollar store is 12 minutes away because we had to run out first thing on arrival. Might want to bring some forks too, and a working can opener. We did call once for a clogged drain and Taylor Made sent a nice repairman over right away to fix it. Last thing: if you have older family members in your group, be advised the walk back from the dock to the house is uphill with steep stairs and somewhat strenuous. Overall, we had a wonderful week and we would definitely stay here again!

The hot tub was very nice and operated correctly. The can opener was not operative. The Christmas tree was beautiful and we appreciated it. The master BR toilet runs. Two dining room chairs were unstable and could not be used. The dryer does not turn off. Refrigerator handle loose. Carpet needs to be replaced stains, a foot. Coffee pot handle broken, ouch. The back seat cushion on the loveseat was missing.

My Family and I had a very nice weekend. The house was family friendly with a pool table and conveniently located to the lake and community center. The community center had a pool and a family T.V. area which we enjoyed. Would stay here again.

We stayed at Heavenly Grove for a long weekend to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The check-in process was seamless and the professional host was very communicative. We stayed very early - the beginning of the season - so we felt like the house could have used a refresher on some supplies like measuring cups and spoons that may have gone missing over the previous rental period, but all in all we found the house comfortable, as described and located in a lovely lakeside community. Would stay again!

Had an amazing getaway with 5 friends that we haven’t been together in 22 years.

Property was wonderful. Multi-generational family vacation was enjoyed by all. Please add more description to your listing to avoid renters over-packing! Tap water/refrig water/ice all still strongly smell of sulfur. We had a great time and already look forward to a return.
