Hazel`s Child Oceanfront has 6 bedrooms and 6 baths. The home is beautifully furnished with a great coastal vibe. Our bed arrangement can accommodate any group type from families to golfers, community organizations, sports teams, and more! Families and groups alike come to our home year after year for its great vacation and spacious design.



Note: you are renting 1 side of the home (the left / North side). The other side of the home is fully separate and only shares the wall dividing the two sides.

Amenities in our home are second to none. It has two stories, and both floors are incredibly spacious and each feature an expansive living area overlooking the beach and ocean. With hard wood flooring and plenty of space, our home features fantastic natural lighting and plenty of space throughout. Enjoy high ceilings, and an open floor plan that flows from the kitchen and bar areas to the living room. The home has an open layout perfect for mingling and enjoying the company of friends and family.



Enjoy the STUNNING OCEAN There is a washer and dryer as well, and plenty of parking (4 spaces).





Our beautiful home has a great coastal feel, and its crowning jewels are the stunning views of the ocean to be enjoyed throughout the home. Enjoy a meal from our dining area with plenty of seating or grill out with our charcoal grill in our shaded picnic and grill area on the patio. There is nothing more relaxing than a true cheeseburger in paradise after playing in the ocean all day. Soak up the sun, sip a cocktail in the shade, and enjoy a well-deserved vacation with a gorgeous backdrop! Enjoy your own private beach party every day at our beach house, and then catch an afternoon siesta in one of our lounge chairs. Enjoy relaxing watching the sun set around the fire pit ocean front with seating to enjoy!

Wear and Tear:

Our customer satisfaction is #1 priority, please understand, this property is not a primary residence and the guests should not expect to stay in a brand new home or brand new amenities.

The wear and tear is high due to the number of guests, back to back reservations and limited time between reservations.



Cleaning:

The cleaning is done by a professional cleaning company. If they missed something we will be happy to send them over to fix.



Service calls and maintenance:

Emergency service calls such as leaks, HVAC, flood and fire will have first priority and will be provided by a 3rd party service provider, based on their schedule and availability. We cannot guarantee speed of repair specifically when it comes to HVAC issues or major appliances. Although we do our best to provide the fastest solution possible.

Nestled on a favorite stretch of Ocean Boulevard just two blocks from the Cherry Grove Pier, our beach house offers plenty of privacy, peace, and quiet while still being in the heart of North Myrtle Beach and all of its attractions. Enjoy the ocean views from both the back patio and ground floor as well as the upstairs of the home! Our home is duplex style meaning there are two 6 bedroom villas making up the beach house - Hazel`s Child and Hazel`s Child II. If you have a large group, rent both sides for an extra large vacation getaway! 



Water activities such as banana boat rides and jet ski rentals are on offer just down Ocean Boulevard, and there is even an oceanfront tiki hut down the street for those looking for ice cold libations and live music (summertime).     Beautiful views from the property! Had plenty of space for family and extended family for our Thanksgiving dinner! Plenty of pots, pans, and etc. to accommodate cooking our dinner. I loved being able to bring my pet! Absolutely loved being able to walk out to the beach! The house was a little used which was mentioned but the pictures of the house I feel didn’t fully represent the damage and cleanliness of the property. At least 1 bed needed updated as the couple that slept there were in a hole in the middle of the bed :). We were a little disappointed about door knobs falling off or doors no closing, but I mentioned it to the owner and they sent maintenance out the next day. Overall cleanliness needs to be addressed. A lot of scuff marks on the wall which made it feel not clean. And the toast/ coffee pots, door jams, etc… just needed to be wiped down. Overall we had a great trip!

    Perfect spot for a large group. The convenience of being right on the beach was awesome. The management bought us a new grill because the old one was disgusting, so that was nice.

    The house was great in size, location. And suitable for 7 friends. However, all of the patio chairs and table were unusable due to disrepair and the lawn was so overgrown it wasn’t comfortable to sit in our yard for our beach view which is why we selected the property. The access path to the beach was very overgrown unlike all the other houses’ access paths. The gas grill was broken and disgusting so we tried to clean it, but still not able to fully clean it. The grill with sufficient gas would not stay lit which ruined our plan for a bbq dinner. The tv on the first floor would not work even with our excellent tech skills. The upstairs living room tv worked but we had a guest with mobility issues so that was problematic. The Wi-Fi password was not available and we had to contact host.

    This was a great place to kick off our summer vacation! The location right on the beach was perfect...we had a wonderful time. The only complaint we had is that the beds were a little uncomfortable...worth the price for the location though!

    Hazel’s North is a lovely beach house directly on the ocean. Morning walks are a must- sunrises were beautiful, convenient- great grocery just down the street- and close to RT17 for all the restaurants and fun places to go. We found it comfortable, met our needs, and relaxing!

    This house is worn and tired. The paint on the chairs downstairs is all worn off. The kitchen is missing so many basic things. We ended up buying a cookie sheet, measuring cup, pizza cutter and a few other utensils. We bought some cleaning supplies and cleaned the kitchen ourselves. Not what we expected to do on our vacation. The property manager was very responsive but they can only do so much. The owners need to protect their investment in this house and do a renovation - starting with the kitchen. Replace the granite - it’s badly cracked. Fix the silverware drawer that falls out each time you access it. Clean and paint the cabinets - they’re greasy. Clean the vents. Clean the outside of the front door. The location is perfect and the house could be too with a little love. Oh, and add toilet paper holders - there aren’t any.

    There were seventeen of us so we rented both sides of this property. The properties combined had MORE than sufficient space for us - we bounced back and forth between the two all weekend. There were NO issues with the property that we were not aware of before check-in. The communication with the host was great and they responded very quickly to any questions we had throughout the rental process. The home is exactly as it appears in the photographs, and was exactly what we expected in a beachfront rental property. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay here again! PLEASE NOTE - when you plug the property address into Waze or GPS, make sure you specify NORTH Myrtle, as we did have a little mishap and landed at the wrong address when trying to find this location - that was OUR user error, and has nothing to do with the host - I just wanted to save the headache for any future renters!

    Location of house was great! Condition of house, not so much. Wasn't cleaned very well. Vents were very dusty and had what looked like mold on and around them. TV's in two of the bedrooms didn't work properly. Toilet was not secured to the floor but did get fixed next day. This was my first VRBO, maybe this is par for the course or maybe that's why the price was attractive

    This property is a little old and rickety. Not particularly clean. Zero amenities. Not even a square of toilet paper in the whole house. Be prepared to bring everything. Kitchen was not well stocked with pots and pans etc. beach is perfect.
