We loved the house. We were celebrating our mom who had passed away in February at 92. We wanted to gather family from around the southeast and this home worked very well. It had a big kitchen and family room, and 3 levels so we could spread out if we wanted to. Every bedroom having its own bathroom was a huge plus. Several of us also paid the $10 resort fee so we could go to the pool and it was beautiful! Everyone was very impressed with the home. Highly recommend.
This huge home worked well for our Corporate meeting. We had 17 people during the day for all-day meetings and it was comfortable and spacious. Our only complaints were the lack of hot water in the bathrooms in 3 of the bedrooms: 2 on top floor and 1 on lowest level. We don't consider hot water a luxury. And despite host giving us a GPS location, most of our group using GPS were directed down a dead-end road where the GPS then failed. That was frustrating driving between our 2 houses. Host was very responsive. Location was quiet and beautiful. Private bath for each overnight guest was a plus. Seeing deer on the road at night was a plus.
13 members (3 generations) of our family all met up at this amazing house to celebrate mom's 80th birthday, and it was a perfect setting. The house is extremely well laid out to allow for those that preferred to stay up late not bother those that wanted to sleep early. 4 chefs in the family made great use of the kitchen, which is well stocked with equipment and had a little pantry for things like seasonings and tea, a great surprise. The house is so quiet and secluded, it made for wonderful times sitting on the decks talking or reading - and our two little Silky Terrier pups loved the area. It is fairly removed from things off property, which for us was exactly what we wanted, but it's something to be aware of - as is the fact that there is no cell service nearby (the wifi worked perfectly for calls though!) - just be aware so that you get your GPS working while you still have signal. =) We loved our time here, and would easily rebook this property for a future family reunion!
The size was perfect for our men's golf group and the home was very well equipped for dining in. We'll certainly return to this property.
We had three generations and had plenty of space for everyone. Amenities at Brights Creek are very nice but you do have to drive 25 minutes for more to get to stores or activities outside the community.
We did a Business Leadership Retreat with 8 adults and everyone had their own bedroom and bath. The size of the house allowed us to spread out with different conversations/discussions as needed but comfortable enough to keep us all hanging out together. Great house for multiple purposes.
This place was absolutely marvelous. We really enjoyed the wkd & the entire house. The golf community needs to add house numbers and directional signs. We got lost 5 times. Everything else was perfect.
Great property for a group management meeting. Exceptional house with stunning views, outstanding kitchen and perfect meeting space in the basement.
We had an international group and truly enjoyed this property. It was everything we thought it would be. However ONE SUGGESTION, please put a street number on this house. We had a hard time finding it.
We truly enjoyed our visit to Hawks View Retreat. Be aware - it is isolated! The development is sparsely populated; the nearest grocery is 20 - 25 minutes away and there are no restaurants in the immediate area. That said, the house is very comfortable with lots of room and workspaces; the kitchen is reasonably outfitted; the bedrooms are all comfortable. We did have trouble connecting our laptops to the TV for projections - never actually got that to work. Overall, a very nice and productive several days. Yes - the views are fabulous!
My family and I stayed at this property a week ago, we were there celebrating my milestone birthday. The pictures did not do it justice, absolutely gorgeous. So accommodating for my large family. Everyone had their own room and bathrooms. We cannot wait to come back for another family trip here. If I had any concerns was the air not working on the first floor and a small leak in a guest bathroom but they responded immediately to my concern and it was fixed in no time. Great service! Great stay!
I enjoyed my stay and Boyd was very responsive. I felt as though I had to chase down the property management for answers that should have been readily available.
This house and neighborhood is amazing. Secluded, gorgeous area. We had 12 people, 6 couples and everyone had their own room with a bathroom. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of plates, pots, pans, bowls, etc., wine cooler. You do need to bring your own coffee, condiments, etc. Great tvs. Very roomy. Nice deck with views of the mountains and the golf course. Game room downstairs perfect for those that want to stay up later! Large dining table and comfortable seating! Just a great weekend!
