Hatton Hideaway at Red River Gorge! Pool / Hot Tub / Arcade Game Room

Home is well furnished and comfortable. Beds were comfy, towels adequate, kitchen had all the items we required during our stay. We had some trouble with the pool & hot tub at the beginning, and couldn't use them for the first 2 days. Owner worked to correct the issues to the best of their ability during the time of our stay. The hot tub jets had low power and needed a treatment, and the pool filter was not functioning. Lots of bugs & debris in the pool, as would be expected in the woods, but made the pool unusable until the filter system was fixed. Master bath shower stall is very small, not pictured in the listing. Several items needed repair around the home, but did not overly affect our stay.Property is 20-30 minute drive from most of the area hiking, but about 10 minutes from gas stations and fast food. Driveway is very steep, but to be expected for the area.

Nice location. Parking was a bit tricky because we hauled trailers so we could ride UTV trails in the area. Kids enjoyed the pool, pond, creek, hot tub and game room. Internet was fast and reliable. Plenty of towels. Kitchen well stocked with utensils and cookware. Overall the place was clean, however the amount of dead bugs everywhere was a bit off. Not sure how long it had been since the place was last used but if your paying a cleaning service to handle that for you I would address that. A deep spring cleaning needs to happen inside and out. We definitely would stay here again.

This property is beautiful! Check-in was easy and convenient, the house is close to groceries and restaurants and the Red River Gorge area - perfectly located. Everything was very clean with all the amenities you need for a relaxing and cozy stay. Beds were very comfortable, the two living areas had amazing seating with plenty of room for everyone to stretch out, and the game room was fun for everyone. We enjoyed the deck and the hot tub and even the pool in October! We had nothing but good things to say about this property and would definitely come back again!

Absolutely wonderful!!! A few minor issues missed by cleaning staff but the host response was timely and friendly! One of the most accurate listings, easiest check in and checkout procedures, and friendliest hosts I have encountered! Absolute 10 out 10!

The property was very clean and nicely furnished and was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, it had everything we needed. Host was quick to respond to messages and answer our questions.
