Harvest Moon - 712 Cabin Mountain Road

The heating situation was our only negative experience. It was bitter cold outside and we couldn’t get the thermostats much over 60. We called and emailed and someone brought us a single heater.

Great location with privacy. Enjoyed the deck and hot tub.

Good layout, spacious common areas and bedrooms. Mountain Top is really easy to work with.

The staff are very helpful and great to work with.

I love to rent a house that feels like a home and this one does. In addition, it is tucked away in a fantastic neighborhood with views and very easy access to fabulous hikes at Dolly Sods. The house is clean, very well stocked, and has a lot of amenities. The owners/managers (not sure who I was speaking with) were responsive and helpful. I would love to return again and again.

This was our second year in this cabin. We love the location, the gorgeous deck/porch and the access to the woods for the kids to play outside. There were only a few issues we had with the property this year. One of those issues was the smell of the cabin when we arrived. It had a mildew smell that was worse upstairs than downstairs. The porch lights didn’t work which was only a minor issue because we had our phone flashlights. We also found seeds or nuts in one of the downstairs beds buried under the sheets/blankets and a pile of the same seeds/nuts in the corner of the room. The thermostats in each room is a super nice feature and the gas fireplace is really cozy. The internet works surprisingly well compared to other cabins we’ve stayed in in the same area. Overall we love the cabin and will likely visit again in future years. I didn’t work directly with anyone

It’s a great place just needs to be maintained a little better. The hot tub would have been nice after a day on the slopes. There were a couple of things that could be easily fixed: - the outdoor lights at the parking area were out which made it difficult with the snow and ice to not fall on your way in - the hot tub had barely any water so only our children could enjoy this amenity - the house was generally clean but was extremely dusty, all 6 of our family members needed to be on antihistamines by the time we left - the remote controls were mostly out of batteries and it was hard to figure out which one belonged to the fan, fireplace, etc. - the grill is charcoal and this was a hard no in the cold and covered with a foot of snow, perhaps a propane grill replacement - the steps and deck were covered in at least 3 inches of ice, we’re pretty able bodied but a clumsy guest is going to get wrecked

We really enjoyed our short stay at the property. The house was equipped with everything we needed, and it was very cozy and not too oversized. We don't ski, but we love the outdoors along with the beautiful surroundings We would definitely consider it again, maybe for an entire week next time. Great! Everyone was very nice and the check in and out was made easy.

The house was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the hot tub. Was a fun weekend of catching up. Plenty of catching up, food and laughing. Renting from you was easy.
