We had a great time. Floors were a little dirty but we mopped it up. It is a good location on a dead end of a residential street so the backyard is private. Great kitchen and living room setup. Excellent wifi. Only a few minutes from downtown Harpers Ferry and grocery stores. We would stay here again.
You have to be a good driver to get up the mountain road but it's a lovely location 5 minutes from Harpers Ferry, very affordable, super-clean, comfortable beds, new kitchen, great firepit & deer in the yard.
It was a perfect spot to get away for a night. The neighbors were so friendly too. Would definitely come back!
The house is located in a woody subdivision, about 20 min drive to Harpers Ferry. The fire pit on the patio was very nice with wood available. Nice kitchen, owner provides bottled water (don’t drink tap water for some reason!). The beds can use better mattresses. The property was quiet at night. Overall a decent rental.
Was clean and great location for activities in Harpers ferry and around. House was comfortable and convenient. Owner very responsive to let us check in a few hours early.
The property is OK, but not very homey and the amenities were only adequate. Few and poor quality untensils, dishwasher that barely worked, signs plastered everywhere... do this...don't do that (just like the song!) and on disturbing one saying Don't Drink the Water from the sink faucet - a sign hidden by the blinds. Not very homey. Good size, but overall... just OK.
My friends and I were able to get away from all the chaos and enjoy such a nice time together in the coziness of the nature. The property wasn’t hard to find and is so captivating. The house itself was extremely clean and looked awesome. Also, literally, the MOST comfiest beds i’ve EVER slept on.
Near a lot of great wineries. The town of Harpers Ferry was interesting and fun. Would stay here again.
