Happy Turtle - 60 Steps From The Beach!

Spacious and very clean.

Great place to stay, easy walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. House is clean and quiet. Would go again.

Our stay was good. Location, location, location. This location is perfect for beach goers. The hosts were very easy/fast to respond to any questions. A few things to others looking at this property. It is not a well stocked property. Very basic. No replacement of paper products. (it does state that in the description) Bring everything you expect to use. There were two chairs, and some sand toys. I did ask the host about beach things so we didn't have to bring, and was told they don't advertise beach equipment so whatever is there is ok to use. Being several steps from the beach you would want your guests to enjoy the beach comfortably. The house was clean but a bit dated. Refrigerator makes a lot of noise. Some maintenance besides cleaning duties that the cleaners would do need some attention. (broken wall decor, outside area needs some upkeep attention) There is a great inside patio area, but not really usable. The air conditioner that is in this area is very old, and to small for the area. This is a pet friendly property which we enjoyed. It is fenced in so you do not have to worry about having your dog outside, but note, there is no grass, so you will still probably need to walk pets. Please don't get me wrong, we did enjoy our stay but wanted inform others of our experience.

A great, clean and roomy place to stay. It’s a perfect location for getting around the island. The owners were available if needed throughout our stay. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay very much.

This beach cottage is just what the doctor ordered. Spacious and comfortable. All you need in a home away from your own. Clean. Great gathering spaces inside and out. Close enough to the trolley stop! Super close to the beach! They added an extra touch with providing SOJO amenities for the kitchen & bathroom. Fenced in yard for our pets! what a plus!!

This property is in a great location close to beach, but quiet nrighborhood), it’s very spacious, and was quite comfortable. The unit is one story and has 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. It has a laundry room, large kitchen area and sun porch, and a small yard. Lots of positive, few negatives. I would suggest adding power strips and blackout shades in bedrooms. Better instructions on using TV (with and without apps) would be helpful. Also, colored strips on the steps up to the sun porch and from the porch to inside, might lessen the chance of tripping (I tripped over both).I recommend and would stay here again.

The Happy Turtle suited our needs of a clean, comfortable rental close to the beach. Communication was easy,and Alex was quick to respond. Beds were comfortable, and place was spacious and equipped with most everything we needed. The four season porch that was lovely, could not be used by us, because of the smell of mildew. I’m sure it was related to the hurricane, so we were sympathetic, but sure would have been a great room to utilize while we were there.Also, know your tv passwords for your apps. Any station you want to access needs a log in, with the exception of Pluto.The location really was steps from the beach!

Very accurately represented in app and had everything that we needed. Property manager was very prompt with reply & friendly. Plenty of space inside and outside. Properties around area still have ongoing work from hurricanes but this property was totally complete.

Steps from the beach! Loved having access to beach chairs and a beach cart, it came in handy. Beds were comfy! Would recommend!
