House was a bit dated although functional and large with plenty of beds available for my golf group. Only issue was that no where did it indicate that we needed to either bring or rent linens and towels so this was an additional 464 charge that was not included upfront. Our check in was a little confusing as we came after hours but our keys/info were not in the drop box as indicated. We also had to go back later to get the linens as we were not aware they were not included when we checked in.

While we did enjoy our stay, the upkeep of the house was not good. We noticed early on many issues that seemingly had gone unreported prior to our stay. Everything from a clogged sink and water leaks, to a hole in the wall was noted upon arrival and we had various contractors out during our stay to try and deal with some of the issues. The rental agency was terrific in responding to the issues however it was a shame to see such a beautiful house falling to disrepair.

The property did not match the pictures at all. It was filthy we had to clean once we got there. The air filter had not been changed in so long that air couldn't get through and the filter had bent. Elliott did accommodate with a portion of a refund (not as much as we requested but they did a portion nevertheless). We've used several properties with VRBO and we have been thrilled with them but this particular one fell short.
