The spectacular landscape of the Northern Oregon Coast awaits when you stay at this beautiful hand-crafted Oceanside vacation rental. With a superb location just a quarter-mile from the beach and breathtaking views of the coast from not one but two south-facing decks, this homey cabin infuses your vacation with a unique touch of the Pacific Northwest.
Tucked away in the quiet village of Oceanside, this home is perfect for anyone hoping to escape the crowds of Oregon's more popular coastal towns. Stroll down the hill to the broad, sandy beach, where you can explore tide pools, go kitesurfing, or marvel at the rugged terrain. For a change of pace, hike up to the lighthouse at Cape Meares, or head into nearby Tillamook for a tour of its world-famous Cheese Factory. (We recommend picking up some groceries while you're there - Oceanside only has a couple of restaurants and no markets.)
The house is built entirely from wood and boasts an unobstructed 15-mile view of the water and shoreline, along with two spacious decks for admiring the scenery. Inside, you'll find two separate sections: a main suite with two bedrooms and a loft, and a smaller studio with a private entrance. There's no TV, but you'll find plenty of books, speakers for your music, and free WiFi for checking your social media and chatting with friends back home. Both the main house and the studio also include their own kitchens with a stove, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher, plus private access to their own deck.
Escape to Oceanside for an Oregon getaway you'll never forget. Book your reservation today!

The cabin was perfect! So beautiful and had a wonderful view. Make sure to bring some games because they really only had puzzles available! I just wish there was more food in the area. There are 2 restaurants and both of them are only okay.
Great view to the South. Looking over the other houses. Limited beach view. Large trees close to deck block most of beach and water view. Deck is in need of maintenance.
This has been a favorite place to stay in Oceanside. The home is warm and cozy, the view is perfect, and love the overall property. But it seems there has been little attention put back into this property for years. Rustic is fine, but neglected and verging on unsafe now is too much. We opened a window and thought we might not get it closed again before it may have been left hanging. Another window is duct taped in place. The railings are wobbly to the point we wonder if you could push them over. You can see daylight through holes that have rotted through the boards on the deck, and the deck shakes when someone is walking in the house itself. After having stayed in this property multiple times over the years we will not be booking here again in its current condition. It is a shame to see such a wonderful place so neglected. Please someone put some care back into this lovely property!
Very cute and the view is to die for. The place was not clean at all; we found mice poop and dust everywhere. The place also needs a lot of renovating: things didn’t work, were leaking etc. We did love the coziness of the place.
It was a beautiful stay with great views of our deck
Enjoyed stay, we had a weekend stay and didn't use the studio below us but the rooms were comfortable and living room view is hard to beat. Would have enjoyed a coffee packet or known no TV but overall nice stay
The view of Cape Lookout makes this house great. The furnishings are funky but fine, and the natural wood paneling gives it a lot of charm. My problem is with the lack of hooks to hang clothing, since none of the bedrooms have closets. Curtains are also lacking. There are some rotting boards on the deck. Some attention could really benefit this place.
My family used to frequently rent this house when I was a kid. I was so happy to discover it’s still available, AND it hasn’t changed AT ALL 20 years later! It’s a very unique house, beautifully designed, with incredible views of the ocean, tons of character. I’m so happy I got to experience it again.
View is amazing. It's the reason you get this house. Everything else? Older, worn, outdated, creaky, etc. The house is fine, don't expect it to be in tip top shape, it's old and its age shows. Balcony railing feel loose, kitchen cabinets are worn and dated, some of the windows are broken and rotting. It's an ok house if you're not expecting the interior finishes to be as good as the exterior view.
Beautiful view. Great bedroom and room configuration as long as your aware one bedroom is the loft.
This rustic beach cabin was perfect for a quick getaway and offered plenty of room for our group of six. The views from every room are amazing. It is definitely rustic and quaint, but nice.
In the areas that this location is needing improvement such as enough propane for the grill and more plates it makes up for in location and view. It was nice to have a separate studio for my son and his fiance to go spend time in while me and my husband were able to have some alone time as well upstairs. Overall from my experience with these type of homes even specifically in Oceanside the house of a little sparse on what it needed to be as comfortable as I am used to. My husband was excited by the possibility of using the wetsuits until he realized the crotch was ripped out of the only one that would have fit him. Every time we used the toaster oven even a little the fire alarm would go off and we were given one tablet for a four day stay for dishes. Overall we enjoyed the location but still think it is more like a cabin than a traditional Vacasa house that I would stay in. Great water pressure, good washer and dryer, great view, close to the beach, great porch lookout and great nook inside to watch out and enjoy the view or just talk with your family.
We got a very great time staying, this place are great be able to take guests more than 6 or 8. Everything quite comfortable but it kind of need some care and deep clean up. We’re there at July the night time is still slightly cold and day time you got sun shine through, it can be hot if they have some fan would be good. Overall good visit
The location was absolutely stunning. Beautiful views and natural light. There were 2 problems: no curtains in the bedrooms; & a shower with pressure like Niagara Falls. For light sleepers, the creaky wood floors could be an issue. Another extreme advantage was the south-facing aspect, and the wonderful tree, as wind didn't seem to hit the house with much force (we've stayed in places where the windows buckled in a storm). We will definitely stay there again.
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful quiet property. We had a couple rainy days so we enjoyed the view and a puzzle. Close to the beach and a great sunset on tunnel beach. It is a rustic stay that could use some more lighting and mirrors in bedrooms and curtains on bedroom windows but it was a great stay.
This place used to be owned by a sweet family that loved and cared for it. It’s in awful shape now. Most windows don’t have handles for opening. The porch railing is a liability and a safety issue with a lawsuit waiting to happening. There’s mildew in different parts of the house. The water pressure sometimes goes so low there’s no water. Part of the studio ceiling is coming dish. The studio barely has dishes in it. The have ceilings with peeling paint. The only plus is the view and window seats. It’s absolutely not worth the price. If you have kids, do not recommend because a steady push by a young one and the porch railing will give way.
