Reviewer Comments: Hanalei Bay House is in the perfect location - short walk to town and short walk to beach and pier. It has large common areas for sitting outside, dining outside, and hanging out and sitting and playing inside. The kitchen and kitchen island are huge - fully outfitted and big enough for everyone to be participating in meal activities. The rooms are spacious and perfect for our family of grandparents and multiple adult children with small children of their own. There was a great beach wagon to carry beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach towels, all provided by the house. We Instacarted our food and used BabyQuip for rental baby gear and toys, so when we arrived we were ready to enjoy our Kauai vacation. Lucked out with the weather too!

Beautiful, large, and well appointed home. Wonderfully situated in an excellent spot near the beach with short walking distance to Hanalei Town. Great spot for families!

We really enjoy this house for 4 adults 3 kids. Great proximity to the beach roomy comfy house. Need to fix dishwasher and master shower head needs a good descaling. We used outside shower.

Great experience. Would like to have had more paper towels for a week's stay. Otherwise, outstanding!

The home was pretty in person than in the pictures. You cannot get a more ideal location in Hanalei. Steps from the beach and center of town. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and perfect. The home is modernized without compromising a Hawaiian feel. Plenty of beach towels. Chairs, umbrellas, and cooler available was convenient. Living room was comfortable and great for a movie at night. I cannot express how much we loved this place. I’m home now but my heart is still there. You will not regret booking here.

Krisha is gracious and responsive by text but repairs need to be made. Things to be aware of: Fridge not working properly; temp was 50 degrees for most of our stay. Hot water in master bath lasts for five minutes at most. Dishwasher is horrible - soap not dissolving properly, dishes covered in food and soap even after running cycle twice. Digital oven control won't respond to 6, 7, or 8 in choice of temperature. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans but not with basic food items beyond salt and pepper.

We enjoyed a week as an extended family of 10. The layout is very open making it easy for the whole family to gather and spend time together, and big enough that everyone was also able to spread out into their space, as well. Would absolutely stay here again.

Our family fit here perfectly.. we loved the walking distance to amazing beaches, restaurants, and nature. This is a dream house!

Our family had an incredible vacation in Hanalei, thanks to our stay at this wonderful home just a short walk from the beach. Located within easy reach of charming food trucks and the iconic Wishing Well, this house offered the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. We spent our days swimming and exploring the shoreline, and evenings enjoying delicious local treats from the nearby trucks. One of our favorite memories was watching breathtaking sunsets from the Hanalei Pier, where we often gathered to jump into the crystal-clear waters below. The cozy living spaces and well-equipped kitchen made it easy to relax and unwind after a day of adventure. This home provided everything we needed for a peaceful and memorable getaway in one of Hawaii's most beautiful locations. We can't wait to visit again soon!

The Hanalei Bay house was ideal for our large family. The beautifully decorated home has accessibility to the beach and the town for dining and shopping. May I make some suggestions for the homeowner.. there is a downstairs apartment suite that needs to have the carpet ripped out and put a stone flooring in. The musty smell was overpowering. We were asked to keep the house tidy although the vacuum cleaner did not work. Outside beach chairs were an added plus but the umbrellas need to be thrown in the trash. Air conditioning is only in the bedrooms while the rest of the house is warm depending on the weather that day.
